“Pheasant Branch Conservancy is a wonderful resource for residents and visitors of Dane county. It's trails and water features can provide you with hours and hours of hiking and exploring. The wildlife is great as well. The Sandhill cranes definitely take advantage of the conservancy space. There are multiple ways to access the conservancy off of and around Hwy M.”

“We love to take long walks here. There are paved trails and grass trails. I enjoy the many kinds of plants, insects, and animals that are around. Lots of wild raspberries, wildflowers and milkweed. Also many monarch butterflies and red winged blackbirds. are bicycles going very fast along the trails but they are usually very respectful of pedestrians.”

“Stopped for about the last 1/2 hour, because a friend told me it was one of the MANY places for Make Music Madison today. It's a nice small park a couple of blocks off of Raymond Rd with a large covered shelter, playground and large area to run around or play group games. MTrane Plus was playing, nice music. They had had a community dinner earlier. People seemed to be enjoying themselves.”

“We just started visiting this park this winter with our toddler and it's been a blast! The "My Dream Park" playground area is a kids dream with tons on fun climbing, slides, and swings. There's even a "Tot Lot" for the little ones with appropriately sized play equipment. The playground is one of several throughout the greater Madison area. Besides the playground the other winter activities at the park include ice skating on the pond and a curling rink.”

“Big playground park. Good for mix age's. Does have access for bikes or wheelchair. I think there's a soccer field behind it. Has covered area with two huge picnic tables (15 ft? Each) garbage and recycling. Porta potty. One picnic table and couple benches to sit on. Big sandbox. Two baby swings and 4 for bigger kids. Basketball area. You do have park on s. Burr oak Ave. Which can be busy. Lot day care mom's come here.”

“I stop here to eat my brown bag lunch quite frequently. It's a very expansive park with excellent walking trails and ponds for viewing waterfowl and other wildlife. I've seen an osprey dive in and grab a goldfish which was pretty cool.”

“We had a great time here at this campground this past weekend! The owners and staff are so friendly! We went to relax and ended up winning at BINGO and making new friends :). The grounds were very well kept and clean. They deliver firewood and ice (or whatever you need) to your campground by just sending them a text! We will definitely come back and bring friends.
