Rome Riverside Campground

Amazing Staff!! I stayed at the campground for three days. I went to go see the band, "Phish". They provided transportation, to Alpine Valley, for a fee but worth it. Half of my camping gear was stolen, off the bus the first night. This had nothing to do with Rome Riverside Camping. I am mentioning this, because the first night, I camped without gear under the stars. late night, a crew member, was doing routine checks, and asked me where my tent and sleeping bag were?
I replied with, the stolen items from the bus. The crew member, told me to meet him , at 9 am and he would see, what he could do for me. He turned up, and picked me up in the golf cart and took me to the office. I spoke with, Linda the manager. I was having a cup of coffee, and she told the crew member to pick me up a tent. This narrative was necessary. The crew member turned out to be the owner of Rome Riverside Campground. These are incredible crew members and owners. These folks went above and beyond. They even offered a personal canoe, because I asked about rentals, which they did not do. Just amazed! if you are ever going to a concert, at Alpine choose this campground.

We lived here for a number of months in our travel trailer while our house was being built. Linda and her daughter are wonderful and run a tight ship. Some of the amenities are dated as stated below, but very clean and functional. Any issues we had were always taken care of.

Owners are very generous. Upgraded our lot to include sewer free so we could be closer to grandchildren.
River has good fishing including huge pike. Rated four because there is no swimming pool.

Beautiful campsite. The staff are so so nice and genuinely kind people. Very accomodating. Clean and well maintained. Looking forward to coming back bedtime Phish plays at Alpine. Big Hugs to Linda and her husband and her daughter and other staff. Thanks for the free coffee.

We absolutely love this campground! We went for the weekend to see DMB and stayed here for two nights. They have a shuttle to take you to and from Alpine Valley for concerts which is fantastic! The check-in process is super easy which is nice when arriving to campgrounds. Linda and her husband are the sweetest. They take you to your campsite so you aren't lost and trying to find it. They bring firewood to your campsite after purchasing and if you don't have a fire pit, they build you one! Their customer service is up and beyond. We are in the process of planning our next trip to this campground! We LOVE it here. I highly recommend!
