It's also always clean and well kept. Yes, as others have noted the prices on some of their items are higher than they at some big box stores, but they do have an excellent section with clearance items where you can find some great deals. Finally, sign up for their pig points program, weekly flyer, and go green, save green program to save money when shopping there.”

“It was our time at Ripley Beach in two years! They have a brand new playground with a squishy mat underneath, including new slides, swings, and lots of things to climb. Most of the trees that had been growing by the beach are gone. There was a new area of prairie restoration near the center of the grassy area that looks very nice. The bathrooms are still well maintained and in good shape; the showers in the family bathrooms are so great with kids! The air compressor is very convenient for filling rafts and tubes for swimming. There were plenty of picnic tables, and the wide beach made leaving space between us and fellow beach goers easy. I love how far we can walk into the lake before it gets deep. The kids have so much room to swim and play safely. The water was pleasant on a sunny late summer day. It remains one of our very favorite beaches in the area. Driving through Fort Atkenson for dinner on the way home was a perfect way to end the day!”

“I had a great experience at Sacred Hearts Wellness Center. My boyfriend purchased a 60-minute deep tissue massage for me via GroupOn, and it was a great massage. I would 100% recommend them for the price. They are located in an office building, but it looked and smelled (in an essential oils way) just like any other massage facility. There were windows in the massage rooms (or at least mine) so it wasn't super dark, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment. It also wasn't super quiet (you could hear people in the hallway), but that didn't detract too much. The most important thing was the Lindsey did a fantastic job, and it was a very relaxing experience.”

“Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic is wonderful. The staff is always friendly, helpful, understanding, and compassionate. They have realistic expectations for how animals may act during appointments. They go the extra mile and reach out to see how your dog is doing the day after a procedure. They genuinely care for the fur babies! They also have "Happy Visits" which are intended to make your animal comfortable at the vet. At any time you can stop by the vet for free, get your animal weighed, let them take a look around, get treats, and feel more comfortable with the staff. My dog is excited to go to the vet for this reason!”
