“I started visiting VVRC the week after the nude car show (sorry I missed it, I heard it was a blast). I’ve visited every week since and I am hooked. The price is right and the facilities are clean. I lost my wife in June. That was bad enough but the frustration that rained down from the insurance companies and investment firms not to mention the county had me so tense. I remember hearing about a nudist club near Cambridge so I looked it up. It sounded great. It is. I arrived and paid my fee for a day pass and was directed to the parking area and told to go ahead & undress and enjoy my day. It took 30 seconds to shed my clothes and the tension and frustration immediately started to disappear. I felt so relaxed as I walked across a huge expanse of grass, totally nude, past the clean pool area with loads of chairs and loungers, all in good condition. I spread my towel on the beautiful lawn on the other side of the pool and enjoyed the day. Now each visit ends with a stroll along their trail in the woods. The season ends Sep 11. I can’t wait for next year’s season, I will get a gold pass.”

“Loved this place. There was someone in my camp site that I had reserved. Thank God there was another site I was able to book. Id recommend whoever oversees the site to look for stuff like that. I was able to get money from the individuals to make up what I spent. The sites are beautiful would have been nice to be able to drive in by the site to unpack, gates were locked. Try to get fire wood before you arrive, otherwise you'll have to scavenge some, and there is a nice big brush pile down towards the overflow lot.”

“Extremely clean, family friendly campground with a theme park feel! There were so many fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. The staff were nice and helpful. This is our new favorite place to camp. It's also very accessible with cabins for rent that have wheelchair ramps. There were no lifts at the pools but there's upgrades happening and I'm hoping that is something they eventually add. The first bathroom stall is the wheelchair accessible one in the main bathroom which was so nice to see! We love, love, LOVE this place!!! Also, the dog parks were a huge plus!”

“The folks that run this place are very hospitable The hotel is run very well. I left some valuable personal items in my room by mistake, and was nervous when I returned because I expected housekeeping to steal my things. They did come in the room and cleaned it, but not of my things. All my stuff was neatly set on the desk and the bed was made perfectly. Nothing was taken, even cash I had left out. They did, however, collect the money I put in an envelope to tip them. My car broke down while here in ft worth and I went to some local store and got the parts and from another store the tools to fix it. I didn’t ask permission, I just did it, but I repaired my car (replaced a half axle) in their parking lot. They didn’t complain or call the police or anything like a hotel in San Diego would have. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in town. The breakfast is good too. Towels are starched stiff, just like I Ike them. Great little hotel. I couldn’t get the tv to work tho, but that may be operator error, I don’t usually watch tv.”

“We stayed in a suite, and everything was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were incredibly clean every time we came back after 14 hr days (they even put the suitcases that we left on the bed). Roxanne was an absolute sweetheart, and provided us with everything we needed. We even had the most wonderful conversation with her after we got back from a long day. It was very relaxing to come back to such a wonderful hotel. Thank you for the great stay!!!”

“We stay here fairly regularly, in several different rooms. We have Never had any issues with bugs. If there has been, there aren't any recently. Nor unfriendly "Indians" who dont want anyone else in the room but you. That's simply not true. There is only 1 "Indian" man & he is very kind, welcoming & efficient. He does the best with what he has to work with & is accommodating in every way. Perhaps if you are picky you can stay at the Holiday Inn next time hmmmm?”

“This place is fine!! We stay here for horse shows. It is very retro, but clean. I think it's kind of nostalgic. I didn't feel unsafe - but then again, I live in Chicago. If you are expecting a palace for this price, well, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep and shower, this is just fine.”
