(August 20, 2018, 7:00 pm)We got to watch the aquanuts show! It was really fun! They had a show with the juniors and seniors together! It was great to see the younger kids working hard, being responsible, and performing so well. The seniors did some great tricks tooa We really enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere of the show. It is a free show. We plan on returning next summer.
(August 8, 2018, 9:01 pm)What a little gem we found today!!! Perfect free (& hassle free!) beach. Plenty of free parking. Nice, good sized beach. As a bonus, when we went there was only one other family there down the beach aways. The beach is sandy, but the swimming area was rocky- which my son loved because he loves searching for rocks. Personally, I may bring some water shoes and/or a floatation device next time we go. We had a lovely time.
The family restroom had a changing table and was spacious and clean.
They have a nice picnic area with many picnic tables and a nice amphitheatre. There's also a boat launch.
As a bonus, the water skiers were practicing and we got to see some of their tricks! They put on a show at the beach a few evenings a week, I believe.
