“I love coming to walk around with my kids. It is an EXTREMELY hot spot for the game PokemonGo, and everyone in the community looks out for each other here. Peaceful, watching the waves from the harbor.”

“This was our first stop in Kenosha. There was a lot of room to run around and stretch our legs. It was absolutely stunning and clean. It was not over crowded either, which is a huge bonus for me.”

“Fun for kids of all ages. The smaller pad at the top of the stairs is great for little ones and the main pad has fun water features. It nice how the benches and stairs surround the splash pad, making an obvious area to stay within.”

“Large dog park. I used to live in this area and now enjoy coming back to visit friends! I still bring my dog and go to the dog park. However, out of town guests be aware that in these areas if Wisconsin pay attention to whether there's a fee $ to use the dog parks.”

“This large fenced-in area features a secure entry/exit point for dogs and their owners. The entry opens into a wide open field that usually has at least a few dogs in it. There have been times when only two other dogs were present and, at most, there have been about 10 other dogs besides my own. The open space is big enough for a large dog to run full out and build up speed. There are a couple of picnic tables in the dog park for the humans to sit at and visit or watch their dogs. It is not uncommon to see one of the pooches on top of one of the tables. There is also one agility jump in the middle of the open field but I haven't seen that used in the times we have visited. Many people bring Chuck-its with tennis balls to play fetch but once a tennis balls is thrown it is almost up for grabs unless your dog is keyed in and ready! There are usually numerous tennis balls to be found throughout the length of the park, so don't be surprised if your dog turns up with one. Most of the dogs we have seen there are well-behaved however there are some dogs that cold use most socialization. Owners are pretty quick to step in if problems do arise - I've only seen that once though. This is a great place to bring your dog for some canine fun, just don't forget some water!”

“Nice clean park with playground equipment, enjoyed by the neighborhood children. Open space with limited amenities. Minimum trees or shade. Baseball field and place to play other field sports. Limited as compared to many others in Kenosha Park system, however, closer to another much larger park with more facilities and a large pond.”

“Awesome place to take your Dog because they allow the dog in the water and no one complains. I live by Bohners Lake and my dog is only allowed on the boat landings. I have been told I would get a ticket if he was anywhere else than the landings. KD allows us to enjoy the water.”

“Love this Park. A second dog area for small dogs is pretty uncommon so this one is special. Always clean and plenty of bags in case you forget yours. Out if the 5+ times we’ve been there we found the other visitors extremely friendly.”

“For a poor man who owns no land this space is a little piece of heaven I can go to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world. No matter how bad I am at hunting I am more than happy to just be there and appreciate the land that has been set aside. The trails could use some clearing, I would be more than happy to contribute to this if someone would like to contact me.”
