“There's lovely playground equipment, swings, a sandbox, merry go round, picnic tables, and a basketball court. It's a nice park with a lot going for it, but there's a bit of issues that make locals avoid it for other parks around the lake. To start with the basketball hoops are weird heights, and fling your ball away. You may get worse at basketball if you play here. Second, it's next to a flood plain / forest so a lot of mosquitoes. Make sure to bring or wear some bug spray. Sometimes it's not that bad with them. And lastly, it's a flood plain. This road specifically will flood if it rains for too many days. So consider the park closed on those rare days. lol”

“Very well kept park. It's always kept clean. Kids usually play well too, I never had a bad experience here and there's lots of different play areas I feel like. Big and small slides and swings for both ages. Great area.”

“We have lived in the neighborhood and my kids have been playing at this park for years. I’m glad to see the very recent renovations. There have been ongoing issues of graffiti and vandalism here. This is a heavily trafficked park and there are a lot of small children in this neighborhood. They deserve a well maintained playground! Keep up the good work, can’t wait to see what’s next for the space!”

“Visited for the first time for my sons birthday. Online booking was great. All of the staff that encountered were so friendly and helpful. My kids were 8 and 10. They had a blast. We went with our kids and had a great time. Well worth the money and next time I might buy the 3 hour time slot because it flew by and we could have still done another course or two. Highly recommend!”

“My favorite park to take my dog. You have concrete paths or you can go into the wooded dirt paths. Also a dog park and free wifi in spots. Plenty of activities for kids, pets, and adults. There is a golf course located here as well. Just go. Highly recommend for anyone!”

“I have been coming to Hawthorn Hollow since I was a kid with my family to go on walks and look at the historic buildings and I recently had my wedding ceremony there. I was touched by the amount of effort that Sarah went to in trying to make my wedding the best it could possibly be. She went above and beyond making it so every situation would be covered - rain or shine - and played a large part in my day being so special! I highly recommend having events here and taking advantage of the beautiful location!”

“Nice dog park. 2 different areas. One for bigger dogs, one for smaller ones. Agility stuff available to use. Not the biggest but plently big enough to wear out your puppy.”

“Beautiful park close to my residence which has excellent views of Lake Michigan and the Kenosha wharf & lighthouse. Love to walk my dog along the beach as often as I can. It's a little paradise against the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Even though Sheridan Rd runs along through it, you can't hear the traffic. Very relaxing!!! Great for Landscape Photography!!”

“Nice park with lots of parking. Its winter while writing this review and not sure if the city cleans up the beach but sure needs it. Nice bike path also. I'll have to revisit during warmer days. Never saw any trouble here while visiting the few times I've visited so far”
