“This specific church community is good. Now, I'm going to try to put my feelings and thoughts into words...I have been a member at this Church for about 5 years now. During these 5 years I met many many people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. I have NOT met one person that was mean or "Better/Above" anyone else. Also I have NOT met many people that are nice and easy to talk to and get a long with. So basically like usual Churches people here are quiet and keep to themselves for the most part. Unless your child or family member attends school here, you probably won't talk to much at mass every weekend. Others do because they know many other people because of the school. So all in all it is a nice, clean, respected, and a solid and great church all around. Some pastors talk with a monotone voice which honestly loses your attention no matter how devout you are...And some are very loud and show alot of passion and paint a picture of everything by the words and actions they say and do! But that is once in a great while unfortunately. So usually every mass will be the same as far as the interactions and your experiences. Nothing bad but just quiet and some friendly nods and friendly "sign of peace" to one another. Then once mass ends, you leave...which obviously is normal. I do like when the pastor is waiting on the way out to wish everyone a great Sunday and shake your hand...But once in a great while you get the pastor that is full of enthusiasm named Father Carmelo. On the way out, he will shake hands and tell jokes and I dont know how!!!,,, but he also remembers EVERYONE!!! So he will thank you (for coming and for being on time) or ask in a serious, yet gentle and nice way where you were 3 weekends ago (if you missed mass because Father Carmelo always remembers if you were there) or he asks why were you late today and ends with the famous Father Carmelo support for the home team The Green Bay Packers by saying "I won't miss any of the game because I live across the parking lot haha" and finishes with "And I got you all out just in time so you can get home before the game starts soooooo GO PACK GO!!! (If the game is Sunday at noon) Otherwise he says have a great week, shakes hands, and says "If you pray hard enough, it might be heard and then if it IS heard, you will know FORSURE next Sunday after Mass because the Packers will have an AMAZING new defense to help Rodgers! Haha!" (Obviously jokingly saying everyone is praying the defense of the packers gets better) If he was there every Sunday, and i wish he was, I would say it's the best Mass ever every weekend!”
