This is the place to be for the best deli food old school fresh and tasty 😋 The pastry, scones, cookies and cakes as well as the salads & soups are from scratch and Da-best in Wisconsin!! You must make it in for a delicious meal or treat for family friends or colleagues any time of the year🤗 Brian and staff are super foodie stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was in the area for work and was brought here for lunch. This place did not disappoint! The sammich and sides were very good! even got a scone for dessert that was great! Feels like you are at a friends house when dinning in.

Excellent bakery and deli. Had French toast and wife had eggs, ham and hash browns. All great and of course bought bags of danish and cookies. Well worth the trip, be mindful of construction on Brown Deer Rd, entrance to Deerwood is open just tuff to see on the first pass if not familiar with the area.

We came to Milwaukee on a quick trip and this place was close to our hotel, with solid reviews. The staff was welcoming, warm, and kind. I ordered their special, the Reuben, with a side summer salad and it was the most delicious food we had while on our stay in Milwaukee. It came with a dipping sauce on the side that made it even better! During our stay we had gone to State Fair and “nice” place in downtown (third ward) but would’ve preferred a soup and sandwich from this establishment over the other places we ate at… but always willing to try new places. Also, we tried some of their pastries which were delicious too! Great with my coffee next morning! Will definitely stop here next time we’re in town!

What a cute place!! I went in there after a post on Milwaukee Foodie and I wasn't disappointed. We picked up several things (photos included) and went home to try them. Everything was amazing. Being from Germany myself it's very hard to find Bienenstich. Kurt's is amazing! It's not too sweet and the filling is custard based. The almond horns were amazing! They have just the right amount of almonds and chocolate. The store also has an eating area inside and out. The atmosphere was very welcoming and Kurt himself greeted us at the door. The prices are very reasonable and honestly, he could absolutely charge more and he'd probably get it. They have soups and sandwiches and salads, including German potato. I'll definitely be going back and recommending this place to all my friends.
