Both plates made fresh. Excellent salsa served w/ the chips. Rice and beans could have been served a little warmer. The owner came to the table to welcome us and to ask how the food was. “Best BBQ in the City of Milwaukee. The brisket and pulled pork are fantastic. The ribs sell out so quickly that you need to get there early on the weekends. Sides are typical fare for BBQ shops but made with more flavor. The sauces are just OK but I rarely want to use them since the meat is so juicy. They butcher their own hogs there and really provide great cuts of meat. You actually get a lot if food for the amount you pay, unlike many other small BBQ places in the city. Eating here is messy. . .”

“This place is located down the street from Dollar General on Howell Avenue. I’ve driven by the building and I have seen many restaurants open here but I’ve never gone in until today. It has a nice low-key laid-back atmosphere, I ordered an iced coffee drink which was good. If you want to avoid the crowds at Collectivo and avoid crowds downtown or Bay view, this place is for you because more quiet area. I hope they are able to stay here longer than other restaurants have at this location, but they will need to do more with the outside of the building to draw attention.”

“MOD Pizza is an unusual experience. You can order one of the base pizzas, add or subtract anything or create your own pizza. This is similar to Subway except it is pizza. There are different crusts. The pizzas come in a variety of sizes with the smallest being 6". There is a large selection of toppings. There is so much (from vegetarian to meat lovers) that I would find it difficult to believe there isn't something for everyone. It surprised me to receive my pizza so quickly. Parking is very easy though getting into the new shopping area can be a bit strange. The building is handicap accessible. There is an outdoor patio (when the weather is good.)”

I believe that the food is rather good tasting. the location is usually clean (except where you put the trash was a bit messy and unattended for a while) and the staff is friendly. The menu options are varied and have a little something for everyone. However the portions are rather small and non exactly balanced. The food in and of itself it tasty but the confluence of tastes leaves something to be desired. The location was overall clean and tidy inside and out. If i had believed that the cost and experience were justified i would have given this a 5 star, however the food in neither that good nor is it the best quality/quantity of food for the price. To finalize my review, I would certainly go back here, this is a great spot for a quick bite to eat.... enjoy!”

“Its a buffet. They had a large variety of food. The ice cream machine doesn't operate correctly. Ice cream isn't smooth nor creamy but more of a chopped ice. Strawberry cheesecake was delicious as well as the orange chicken. Hilda from ?Germany? was a great hostess. Constantly removed items and even assist with a spill. Very friendly. Great place to take a group with picky eaters.”
