“Cookie: A small thing, almost entirely luxurious in nature to have an edible be so sugary, buttery, and baked. Peanut butter is her favorite, but the chocolate chips are not an unwelcome guest to this party...happiness, fleeting as it be - can still be hunted and gathered in the piggly meadows and the wiggly forests. Why bother? I can't tell you how to live, stranger. No one can, and if they do they're selling you business or buying their own ego through your real estate. I bother because they make my wife happy, and the Lore speaks of an ancient recipe that happy wife equates to happy life. So far, so good.”
