“Cute little park great for the neighborhood. But that's the problem, it's only great for the neighborhood. It's needs some street access”

“Its a park that you would picture from the deep south. As its in the middle of town and its a a triangle shape with a nice gazebo. On my visit on 09/09/18 it was due to a car show location that was orginally under water a week ago. The park has a good mixture of tables with umbrellas and benches. The city of Saukville keeps the grass very immaculate along with the nice colored cement that is handicapped friendly as well”

“My kid and I had a lot of fun here. You can go down by the river or play by the swing set. I haven't rolled down a hill in awhile but I bet it's good for sledding in winter.”

“I go practice fishing whenever I can. Really short distance from just about anywhere in Port Washington. Multiple entrance, and when the river is low, the rocky outlines on the bank can make swimming holes. But do make sure you stick to the trail, for once you stray, you may find yourself on private property. Riddled with deer trails, so make sure you distinguish what is, and isn't a walking trail. Trout is stocked at the mouth annually. Would come again and again, for as long as possible.”

“River keepers program held an event for trash clean up day. Members of the Saukville Scout program volunteered to help clean up and many others did also. Clean up was easy because the area is well kept. Great place to walk the river and play sports, fly a kite or have a picnic.”

“Great dog park! I love the size and the fact that there are no creeks or mud puddles for your dogs to get dirty in. There is also a water spigot so the pups can stay hydrated. Very well maintained.”

“This review is for the 18 hole disc golf course. Nice mix of open prairie and wooded fairways. Fairway distances are generally in the 200 to 300’ foot ranges. Well maintained, $5 daily pay to play. Fun course, can spend some time searching for discs off fairways in tall grass or woods. Multiple basket locations and pro tee options. Only real downside is signage from hole to hole is lacking, and should be better. My score 4.5 out of 5.”

“Gorgeous natural reserve park with beautiful views and plants. We went on a Wednesday midday and there was a lot of open parking spaces and not a lot of people on the trail. The views you see from the location are breathtaking. This would be a gorgeous place to do a nature inspired photoshoot or also great if you want to walk the trail as a form of exercise. There are benches through the trail so you can stop and rest. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking to do a nature walk whether you are local or visiting Port Washington.”

“Beautiful local for a short hike. We bring our toddler and even with the heat she was able to do it. The lake is worth the trek. Very secluded and not a lot of other hikers.”

“Our pups have been staying with autumglo for years and we can't say enough good things about them! they just came home on Monday from their last stay and were happy pups! we love that we get updates and pictures as well. Even our geriatric dog who hates EVERYONE and everything gets excited to stay there. they are the only facility we recommend.”

“Absolutely beautiful. It's a nice quiet park with only a fisherman or two dotted along the river. There are small groupings of picnic tables/grills. There are also a couple playgrounds, good bathrooms and party areas, and some camping spots right along the river.”

“Nice trail but definitely not after the leaves have fallen. I walked it yesterday and it was hard to follow the trail with the leaves. Hard to see any rocks or tree branches in the way. Plus in a couple of spots, large trees were down across the path.”

“We stayed at the campground during the week. The campsites are very private. You don't really know that you have neighbors. The main restroom was clean. Most of the campsites have a nearby pit toilet. Those were clean as well. The hiking and biking trails were easy. The beaches on lake Michigan were fun to walk.”

“We used this space for my nephew's graduation party. It was nice, lots of trees to provide shade and we had a nice gazebo. Downfalls, distance to walk to unload/load vehicles and distance to the bathrooms. Overall, was fine and would use again.”
