I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Tonya as part of Community Move & Learn. Tonya was key in us obtaining a grant to fund the 2019 season, bringing in new wellness instructors, and being a regular instructor as well. She demonstrates a high degree of passion for community wellness through mindfulness. I am looking forward to further working with and learning from her in 2020.

I have taken several classes regarding health and fitness. Tonya uses her expertise and passion in creative ways to reach a multitude of people with varying backgrounds. She always makes everyone feel welcome and included. A true life long learner. You will never be disappointed. Dian

For anyone seeking a more well-rounded wellness or searching for a pillar of the community, I recommend speaking with Tonya. Tonya is guided not only by her knowledge and wisdom, but an uncanny sense of intuition. Tonya's presence is grounding. These are powerful gifts that allow her to enrich not only the lives of individuals, but also communities. I have personally seen and experienced Tonya's connection to both our community and on a one-on-one level. A few examples of this include, Tonya's commitment to River Falls' local Co-op and her involvement with the board. Additionally, Tonya partakes in community events such as Music in the Park, but she doesn't just involve herself and her own family. Tonya goes so far as to invite along other families and friends, such as myself and my family. I attended a healing yoga workshop led by Tonya at Turningpoint in River Falls. At this session, I experienced both emotional and physical therapy, at a time when I was just coming to terms with a traumatic event. Tonya has a special way of making people feel important and their feelings valid. When I think of Tonya, I would describe her as a pillar of the community and a woman who yearns to help people by connecting with them in various ways (nature, yoga, music, eating, community involvement, etc.) I would highly recommend Tonya for community work, both in large or small groups and one-on-one. Tonya provides group services that are sensitive, responsive and supportive of healing. She is authentic in her mission to help others live healthier, happier lives, and she delivers on this professionally. Everyone is welcome and finds powerful resources regardless of prior experience with yoga and/or mindfulness.

My experience at a yoga session with Tonya was very warm and welcoming! Tonya invites individuals to participate in the way that feels best for them with no expectations. A healing environment was created through activities with breath, language, sound, movement and opportunity to share. I look forward to attending another session with Tonya in the near future!
