“I was a student in occupational therapy who completed their internship/fieldwork at this site! That being said, I got to see all of the details of the facility and work closely with the therapy team, residents, and staff. The facility is very updated and clean. The staff genuinely care about the residents and take every step to care for them with the utmost respect and diligence. I am thankful I was blessed to work there for a time!! I can confidently say this was the best skilled nursing facility I have ever experienced.”

“The Inn got new ownership in March 2021 and it is fantastic. The owners are very friendly and pay special attention to all the little details for their guests. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The beds all have new mattresses and are very comfortable. The view is to die for. The breakfast room looks out over the River and it is lovely! There are lots of places to lounge in the hotel, and the house is old and luxurious. Beautifully constructed and has been well maintained by the new owners. I took my mom here for Valentine’s Day and they put a fresh rose in our room as well as fresh bouquets in the breakfast room. Chocolate covered strawberries were served at breakfast and we had a lovey chat with the owner about the history of the building (my mom and I are both enamored with century homes). All in all, I would say this was one of most luxurious and relaxing hotels I have ever stayed at and my mom thought the same. The price is great for this experience. I almost don’t want to post this review so as to keep this my secret get away from the cities, but the owner was so nice and dedicated to the hotel, I just had to share!”

“Had a medical emergency with my 5 month old kitten buttons over July 4th weekend called Sunday they called me the very next day even though they were not open that day. The young women was very friendly and helpful brought her in the very next day to be observed and had her back home that afternoon with meds,shots and a call from the doctor who explained everything ....very reasonable price for the emergency and will be bring her back for her yearly exams..”

“Faced with an overwhelming schedule, I had an opportunity to get an intern who would help alleviate some of the workload once they were trained and their project defined. I needed quickly create a plan that would get the proper resources available for the training as well as lay out the plan for the project. I contacted Dr. Nelson for help on organizing this project. Her back-to-basics approach forced me to think about many things that I had overlooked. Together we developed a structured plan that allowed me to cover all the on-boarding tasks as well and layout a systematic plan for the summer that achieved my objectives for the project. When I submitted the proposal for approval by my manager, he was surprised by how comprehensive and complete the plan was. And it allowed my intern achievable and clear goals for every week that she was working for me. We achieved a significant improvement in the performance of one of my processes, which delighted my customer. Later, we hired that intern to take over a sales territory where she is extraordinarily successful. I had extremely high hopes that a coach would be beneficial to me in this situation, but never did I expect the success that was the result of spending a few hours developing my plan with a Dr. Nelson.”

“This a phenomenal locally owned & operated company. We met Sue about 6 years ago on a VERY cold Wisconsin February day. My wife loves to look at houses, even in -10 degree weather. Sue was so nice, gracious & very patient with us. She showed us houses for the next 18 months before we bought. We then had friends who were looking to buy in our sleepy little river town & we immediately recommended Sue & Jolene at Outdoors. Our friends got the exact house they wanted, only because of how quickly Jolene was on it. It's a beautiful old house on main street that would have sold very quickly. (Well, I guess it did because of Jolene. 😄). We've recommended them to other friends who have had the same experience. Jolene is licensed in WI & MN. There is no other realtor I will ever go to. I have dealt with others (before finding Outdoors) that only care about you until you sign on the dotted line. Jolene & Outdoors Realty are not like that.
