“I've been taking zoom (due to COVID-19) prenatal classes with Jana and it's been great!! She's extremely personable, knowledgeable and creates such great lessons. I truly feel comfortable with all of the safe stretches and poses she has us doing. I am so happy I found this place and I am so grateful that they've been offering virtual classes. I cannot wait to continue my practice with her and take more classes at Yoga Om Peace in the future.”

“One of my favorite parks for exploring some woods. On top of the numerous baseball fields, basketball, soccer, and tennis courts there are a few wooded acres right against lake Michigan that offers hours of fun exploring in the forest for me and my family.”

“I live right next to this preserve. It's a great place to go to experience the woods as they would have been before roads. One would have to park on E. River Rd to access. Typically no one else is there; it's secluded. Dogs on leaches welcome. Follow the deer trails.”

“After attending their annual pancake breakfast a few days ago (GREAT wheat or white pancakes with real maple syrup, cherries, and whip creme. Tasty sausages available.) we visited the maple syrup-cooking shack outside, hiked around the lovely woods then sat around the fire with some nice folks while the kids tried to pick up rocks with antlers. The kids love all the natural things available to touch in the lobby, from skulls to rocks to pinecones and much more! I checked out the gift shop this time and got two stick-looking pencils for my last buck. Great day!”

“Armstrong pack is a beautiful and secluded place. It has baseball diamonds, volleyball courts, multiple play grouds, tennis courts, miniature golf, a driving range and much more. I have visited this park with my family many times and it always looks well kept and clean. It also has beautiful trails and access to the root river. My family rented one of the pavilions for our family reunion and it was a great location. It had oicnic benches, shade and easy access to all the different activities. Definitely recommend a visit”

“Isolated, far off of the busy road. Wish there were a few marked parking spots on the north side of their property. As far as I understand it, the land along Three Mile Rd. belongs to Payne & Dolan (formerly Vulcan), the owners of the quarry, and they consider entry there trespassing, so there'll never be parking spots. ???? I usually park in the neighborhood to the south. Good spot for kite flying as there is a load of open green space. Kid's batting practice would work here, too.”

“Great spacious dog park with a separate area for little dogs. Many people were there and friendly. The only downside were the patches of ice all over but this is WI in winter.”
