Big Barn Storage is an excellent alternative to having to move all of your belongings at one time. We chose BBS (Big Barn Storage) primarily because of its location, south of Madison, but north of Janesville, that would be convenient during repeated trips after we sold the farm. The BBS facility is new, and they have many unit sizes, including RV and boat storage, including temperature-controlled units, too. The owner, Ed, is friendly and helpful. We weren't sure of the unit size we needed, or even if it would be sufficient. Our belongings included a 30-year household, a half-dozen saddles, and accompanying tack. To facilitate our needs with uncertainty, Ed assigned us a unit alongside a second vacant one in case we needed additional space, or simply wanted more space for sorting/organization. It turned out that we needed the second unit, and it was perfect that the units were side-by-side, relieving the need to lock one unit while checking something in the other unit. Rest assured your belongings won't be tampered. There are many security cameras and an excellent perimeter fence. Ed provides a brand new, packaged, all-weather keyed lock, You'll choose your 8-digit code to gain access through the automated car/truck gate. Make sure to bring your military or veteran ID because Ed will give you a 10% discount in appreciation. Our belongings were well-protected throughout our ten-month stay. We have no complaints about the facility, or the service we received. Everything was up to standards, well-maintained, and Ed communicated any questions and/or concerns. I highly recommend Big Barn Storage.

I am very impressed by the quality of this facility. The units are all new and clean. I stored the contents of my 3 bedroom house in a 10x25 for about 4 months. During that time, I had no issues with my belongings. No mice at all!

The customer service by Brandon is excellent. If you are considering a storage unit, I would not look anywhere else. I could not have been more pleased with how this went. Thanks!
