Devil's Lake State Park

Devils lake is so beautiful! The trails are amazing! Some are easy some are really difficult the trail maps are marked as to which ones more challenging. The ones up the bluff will make you sweat quite a bit but the view is so worth it! Each trail has a something unique and special to be found along it. It’s so exciting! The photos you can take and the time you can spend at this park is extensive! It would take a whole weekend to experience it all. So if you’re going up for a day pick and choose what you most want to do, because time goes by quick when you’re handling this much fun! By the lake there’s kayak rental, canoe rental, paddle boat rental, swimming, a beautiful gift shop, ice cream, snacks, a bath house. Plus you can’t forget about the fact that they have a campground. That’s the best way to go if you’re gonna go all out is to come here and camp for a whole weekend or longer! I can’t wait to go back!

Great hiking and very good views! We went on a very nice day, so the park was quite busy. If you're looking for a place that feels more secluded, this probably isn't going to be your cup of tea. Due to it's close proximity to the Dells, there are usually going to be a lot of other people here. Lots of places to swim and big rocks to climb on!

The State Park is huge. It's got a gorgeous lake. There are many variations of trails, from gravel, to cut boulders that lead you to breathtaking views. You can also circle the lake which is quite a walk, but very beautiful to look at. If you like to hike you're going to love this park

This park is mind blowing. If you go make sure you hike up to see the balanced rock and the devil's doorway. The hike up is tough but well worth it. You will climb almost 500 vertical feet in 0.4 miles. It's somewhere around 570 stairs. If it's raining do not go. When the stairs are dry they are slippery I can't even imagine trying to hike in rain. If you don't want to hike you can swim or go fishing. There are other trails. I believe this park has around 29 miles of trails.
