Little bit of everything prices are fair. Great parking and great service. People are friendly and knowledgeable
I like this feed store a lot. This feed store also has knowledgeable people to ask questions to. In the spring they have many chicks to choose from. However, you need to pre order if you want something specific. Great prices on chicken feed and lots of variety.
We love River Feeds!
Great prices, very fun helpful staff and the security is provided by a beautiful orange and white cat.
Our outside birds are very, very happy with the No Mess Finch Special and the No Mess Sunflower, cracked corn, peanuts & raisins.
This is the best place to buy bird seed!
We usually only stop to restock up on bird seed, or dog treats. But I have been known to buy a couple bird feeders from here over the years.
My daughter likes the resident cat and dog there as well.
I purchased our 20 chick's from River Feeds back in early April (2021)as well as the starter kits and feed. This is my first attempt at raising chickens btw. My happy little hens are now almost 8 weeks old and are growing more beautiful everyday. I buy the Purina Organic chick feed from River Feeds and my girls love it. It has more crumbles and consistency than the organic chick food we tried from Fleet Farm. They didn't like that stuff and it was very powdery, not crumbly. The gals at River Feeds have been so helpful from helping me order my chick's to giving me advice on what to do at what intervals in raising them. I'm so grateful for them! I was recommended by many locals to go there to get my chick's instead of a big store like Tractor Supply and I'm so glad I did. Be loyal, buy local! ...and patronize your small mom n pop shops first!
