Country Inn River Falls

Making our reservation was easy, peasy. While checking in, the front desk attendant was very courteous and professional. The hotel was clean and up to date. Patty, the housekeeper who cleaned the room after the last checkout, did a good job making sure the room was clean and stocked upon our arrival. Water gets nice and hot, and the jetted tub was a great bonus to relax those stiff muscles. Morning attendant was just as curteous as the night attendant, and checking out was as simple as checking in was. I will be returning and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the River Falls/Hudson area.

The Country Inn in River Falls is a basic little hotel; no frills but clean, comfortable and quiet.The beds are nice, the bathroom spacious, plenty of plugs for chargers. I give five stars for those things.

Other things to be aware of though:
Note that there is not a hot breakfast, only coffee and packaged muffins.

Here's a biggie. I didn't see anywhere online that there is no elevator in this hotel, so we didn't think twice about rooms on the second floor. After a very recent knee surgery, the stairs were brutal. This should be mentioned online - I sure wish we had known.

We had an excellent stay. Our family of four came into town for a wedding. We had a two year old and a 14 year old in tow. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They checked us is early, had a wonderful continental breakfast selection and we're very patient with us and our busy toddler. The staff was fantastic, the room was clean, cozy and well equiped. We would highly recommend this hotel for families.

We didn't use the pool so I can't comment about that. It was a nice place to stop for the night while on a long distance trip. The beds were comfortable and the front desk staff was friendly.

I've stayed here twice and I've been impressed both times, the rooms are clean and smell nice. I brought a black light and no stains showed up anywhere in the room. The staff are very helpful.
