(September 28, 2018, 1:38 pm)This place is awesome. Free, but you can donate. All roses are marked with names. We were here in August, and all were blooming. There is also a pond. Beware of big friendly dog! He is kept tied up though! Owner was working outside and we had a delightful talk with him.

(August 2, 2018, 9:04 am)Doug is great. The roses are amazing. This is a labor of love that anyone can enjoy. We were having a not so great day, 45 minutes here and we both left smiling and happy. Beautiful!!!
(July 15, 2018, 8:31 pm)The roses bloom when they want to. They bloom in cycles. We went and there were many in bloom but the caretaker said come back in 3 weeks and they'll be exploding. What a great man doing this for no compensation, just come and enjoy the roses. It's awesome.
(March 29, 2018, 7:54 pm)Nothing bad can be said of this place. What a treasure. The farmer is a joy to speak with and the flowers are so varied and so unique. Additionally, the landscape that surrounds is stunning and the whole experience is just perfect. I have the rose calendar and use it, it's a nice reminder of this place on a summers day.
