“Went to Oakfire after the Lake Geneva Badger basketball shootout tournament. We absolutely loved it! The location was interesting. The interior had a very relaxed and trendy urban ambience with the appearance of garage doors and factory urban lighting with wood accents and wainscoting. But the best part was the food! We adore these wood fired pizza joints. Incredible flavor, wonderful service (as I have a dairy allergy and my server was very good about checking to make sure there was no dairy in any of my food), my son and my daughter gave scores of 8 to 10 on all food that was purchased and consumed. Basil pesto pizza was an 8 for my daughter, gnocchi was a 10 for my son, fried ricotta and cheese ball appetizer was an 8 for both my kids and my pizza was a 9. To be a 10 it would have needed a more even distribution of meats and spice as some slices lacked. Nevertheless, the flavors were exceptional!”

“I've been going to Lake Geneva for 20 years and just found this place which has been there since 1973. Its where the locals go and it's amazing. Best sandwiches, pizza and good drinks. A martini is a proper pour and the craft beer selection is amazing. Everything is made from scratch, family owned and ran, and the service is spot on. Do not pass on this spot. It's a must if you are in LG. The home made meatballs and Italian beef are to die for. The pizza is better than the majority of Chicago thin crust. The price points are beyond reasonable. This place blew me away. It's our new spot when we are in from Chicago.”

“So you're in Lake Geneva for holidaying, summer or winters, you want to see the lake, right? This Inn is beautifully placed to give all that you planned! The building was done with the intent of providing all that you want and it says so on the wall mounted plaque. Great views, good chef and room service and fresh coffee in the hallway stations on all floors. Plenty of parking and good access even in snow, it's a great halt. Plan your package well and you'll have a grand time. However, if you're just for a necessary need for a place to pass the night - take the Deluxe rooms without the lake view for the cheap options. For a good mood and holiday spirit, go for Luxury lake-view rooms. Just remember that you are not in a 7 star hotel and you'll be fine!”

“Stopped in there after golf with a group of 14. We were all very pleased with a waitress and the food. I'm a local and I was pleasantly shocked at the quality of the food and service. Early October is usually a rough time for some restaurants around the lake because they lose a lot of staff. We started with cheese curds and they were amazing best I've ever had. So good. I had the perch fish fry and it was excellent. Looking forward to heading there again soon.”

“The cashier had a nice braid in her hair and spoke very clearly and fluently. They give you unlimited cream and sugar for coffee. Very clean and had nice murals on the wall. It’s great cause it’s inside of the Walmart so when you spill ketchup on your shirt, you can just go down the hall and by a new one since you’re at Walmart!!”
