“I recently finished up my training with Jon and had the absolute best time learning to fly paramotors. Jon is hands down one of the best instructors out there. He actually was one of my fixed wing instructors prior to this, so I knew I was in good hands from the very beginning. Jon has dedicated his life to aviation and sharing it with others. There are few people that I have met that are as passionate and knowledgeable as he is. The ground training I received was above and beyond what I ever could have imagined. There is a lot to learn when getting into this sport, but Jon’s deep understanding of aviation allows him to instruct in a way that is manageable and not overwhelming. Jon doesn’t only teach the technical side of things though. He also is very focused on safety, etiquette, and protecting the sport. Jon’s instructional skills don’t stop in the classroom. Where he really shines is in the field. He is beyond patient and knows how to adjust to each student’s needs. With my motor weighing over 50% of my body weight, he has ensured that I have been laser focused on perfecting my technique and it has definitely paid off. I am so grateful for the skills and confidence I gained during my time with ParAmerica and they will most definitely be my go to for refresher training in the future.
