This is an excellent spot to tune your bow and launch lots of arrows. Quiet and tucked away, there are 4 picnic benches and an elevated platform to shoot from. The flat range has multiple lanes from 10yds to 60yds and the bagged bale targets are mounted professionally. The elevated range has 20, 30, and 40 yard targets. I really enjoy having this in my neighborhood. If you do visit, please clean up after yourself and observe the range rules. You can bring your own targets if you want to use broadheads, but please do not shoot the bales with them.
When I first found out about this range, I was amazed. An outdoor range, with targets out to 60 yards and an elevated platform! What more could an archer want? The grounds are always manicured, targets are replaced when needed. Everyone respects one another, allowing others to shoot and waiting until everyone is ready to retrieve their arrows. Although I no longer live in West Bend, I'll still make the 40 minute drive to get my practice in.
Another West Bend Golden nugget. Sighted in New crossbow Saturday. Well maintained outdoor facility. 10 - 40yrd targets for standard archery and 25yrd for crossbow. Great place to practice, rules are clearly posted to maintain safety.
This is a quiet place. They have target's for cross bow's and compound bow's.They have 10-20-30-40 and 50 yard targets. And a elevated platform to shoot from. This is a awesome place I will be back. They also look for donations .
Very quiet and Clean. It's on a clearing near the river. Not crowded when we have been. Only one time was less then enjoyable as people who had been kayaking popped out of the prairie carrying their kayak and didn't apologize and walked right through the range!! Kinda dangerous on their part as well as just plain rude.
