  Love all of the staff! They've always been so welcoming and help me with my indecisiveness and make great recommendations. Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere, I just really love it here! I recommend it to anyone stopping in town.

  I originally gave this place 3 stars because I was bummed that it was not more "saloon". After thinking about it, I did stop by late morning on a Saturday which is certainly more of a "cafe" time of the day. I did not indulge, but the guy ordering at the counter seemed very excited that there was some quiche left so I am guessing it's pretty great quiche. Cafe = 5 stars. Saloon = undecided.

  Had an excellent latte. Staff was very friendly, prices were low as well and the food was great! If I lived closer I’d be here all the time.

  The 1863 Coffee Shop is a totally unique and historic establishment without a doubt ... We stopped there for the first time and were most satisfied with everything. Our quiche and breakfast sandwich were superb! And both the coffee and tea were second to none. And not to mention the variety of baked goods ... Most accommodating tables, including an upper level room with library, all within a historic Eagle building. A 5 Star rating is too low. The 1863 Shop will now be our mainstay. And so lucky to reside only 5 minutes away. You will NOT be disappointed..
