The Local

This is cool little diner/bar. Excellent attention from all staff. Great drinks offered. We stopped here after dinner so next time we'll have a meal. Great looking menu. Place was hopping.

Interesting bar food items, and the pizza was good, but not great. Items such as a short rib melt, and meatball sub make it more unique than most bars. The pizza tasted good, but was just a tad undercooked and soggy in the middle. It has a nice vibe, as well.

1st time at the Local and it was awesome. Super nice place and staff is very friendly. Our waitress Sara was very nice and got our food out at a good time. Nachos were REALLY GOOD and so is the pizza. Price wasn't bad either. Highly recommend the Local as you will not be disappointed.

My children took me for my birthday. We had the fish fry and it was so delicious!! Thanks to the wonderful staff for singing happy birthday to me. Friendly atmosphere, great food! Check them out. Ask for April if you go, nicest waitress I’ve ever had :-)

So. Same people that own Hale House and in my opinion, this restaurant is way better! My husband and I made a trip to try it out last week since we have been dreaming of their Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich when they had it as a special at the HH. It is EXCELLENT! Quality chicken, great taste and price is reasonable. The fries were great too! We'll be back to try other things on the menu. Our drinks were strong and reasonably priced as well. Hope they offer carryout soon!
