(March 18, 2023, 5:12 pm)Chris and Patti were fantastic. Framing, consulting and design advice. Chris came to my house one day to make sure that the layout we had been talking about fit with the other art and photos of the room.
(February 8, 2023, 1:39 pm)I wholeheartedly recommend this shop. Very nice people! Just FYI, this store is not associated with the Delafield business by a very similar name. We brought in some of our daughter's work to frame. They were very knowledgeable on options for how best to display, and cared just as much for the art as they did the framing. We put off doing this for a while and decided to do ahead of a family Christmas party. Despite the busy times, they got the work done ahead of schedule and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. Framing can be expensive, but you do get what you pay for and we will definitely come back the next time. Further, they weren't upselling or pushy - they recommended what was right for the piece.
(August 16, 2021, 1:21 pm)I was looking for a place that would take great care of my precious portrait. I chose Gallery 1 due to the positive feedback I found here. I want to say that I had extraordinary service from the moment I walked into the gallery. Chris was very attentive to my request to compliment another portrait that I have in the room where this will be displayed. The final outcome was better than I could have asked. I recommend Gallery 1 without hesitation.

When I started my collection 10 years ago, they helped me develop a color scheme for the mats in my shadow boxes and as I continue to add to my collection, their guidance helped me to make it all look cohesive. Their customer service is top notch and their pricing is very competitive. Why go to a national chain store when you can get it done locally, support a small business, and deal with experts passionate about their work?
