“Absolutely LOVE this park when it's nice outside! Tons of space to play, well maintained and definitely a favorite spot for my kids (who are all under 6). Plenty of playground space for lots of kids. We come here often and will definitely continue to when it's warm enough ha.”

“Outstanding place to host a party or get together! You must be a Brookfield resident to rent this space, but other than that stipulation, it's amazing! Always very clean when we enter, it's got great bathrooms for guests and a decent kitchen with a big fridge and sink. No other kitchen amenities though so don't plan to cook here unless it's an outdoor barbecue or something.”

“Fun little city park with different equipment for the kids to climb on. The big fire truck with slide is awesome for little ones.”

“City of Delafield resident permit required for parking. Limited space to park but this is a somewhat quiet lake so usually no worries. Besides a boat launch there's a pier for kayaks, canoes or paddle boards. There is a picnic table at the launch but not really a place to hang out.”

“Very lovely Park, part of the Waukesha County Park system, so you need a sticker. There's a nice Trail all around a medium sized pond, with Boardwalk overlooks. Beach and play area. Boat launch and Fishing Pier. There's also a covered picnic area. Great place to see wildlife too!”

“We have had two children at Mary Linsmeier School - Brookfield for seven years now. Our experience has been wonderful. The staff is well trained and very attentive to our needs. They have been very flexible and accommodating to our changing work schedules. Most of all though they have been fantastic educators for our children. People say daycare is not the same as school but with MLS there is a definite educational aspect with regular art projects, science experiments etc. The staff does a great job of making the day fun for the kids and as a parent, this is a big key. Our two children enjoy their time at daycare interacting with their friends and teachers. When it comes time to pick them up, they are excited to tell us about their day. After seven years, I feel like we are part of the family and that is a great feeling.”

“Decades of development have brought this park numerous features to enjoy. Just be prepared to walk- the ample parking in back is often closed off.”

“Great trail. Used to venture back there occasionally as a kid in the 80’s. We would cut through there to camp Journal subdivision. Very spooky if you were by yourself.”

“I volunteered at a Bioblitz at Riverview Pointe Preserve with Selby Botanical Gardens. This small preserve connects to Desoto National Memorial land nearby, including a shared trail system. Blink and you’ll miss this preserve, which is basically a small parking lot off the road. But we discovered healthy biodiversity and some very beautiful plants that are unusual to find in the area. Seems like a great place to take a daily constitutional (walk).”
