“The staff here is great! Everyone says hi and is very friendly. Our waitress was very quick and checked on us a plethora of times during our visit. I learned they make your hash browns fresh and it takes a little longer, but it's so much better! I ordered the stuffed hash browns without mushrooms and it was extremely filling. Our waitress said most people usually do not finish it, so I took that as a challenge and was able to conquer it. I highly recommend coming here if you want a cute local place with personality and very reasonable prices! Quick note, all food items are $1 more then the menu says but the items are not super expensive as is!”

“I stopped in with my sister at high noon, the place couldn't be busier. We were seated within minutes and waited on promptly. I got a "hot" sub but my turkey was barely warm. The bread is so soft and FRESH! I had a side choice with my sandwich, my sister did not. I got pasta salad and it was EXCELLENT, I would stop for takeout on this item alone! My sister's sandwich came with a half a handful of potato chips. I feel like for the price of these subs a side should be offered for all, my sister added on a pasta salad. The sodas come in plastic bottles with a cup of ice if you choose to use it. Our waitress Laura was very friendly and attentive. There is street parking if you're lucky enough to get it and ample parking around the corner. The street is very busy so be careful, this is right off the highway.”

“We rented Heritage Hall for our reception and it was amazing. It was recommended to us by someone else that had a reception there and she said they were great to work with, which was important to me. Village Bowl took care of so many things, including decorations. All the employees worked so hard during the night and regularly checked in with me. Truly made the night wonderful and everyone had a good time. Also, the room set up had area areas for dancing, eating, the head table, and the bar was awesome (with some great bartenders)! Not to mention, the bathrooms were right next to the hall and very convenient.”

“Love that this place is now corporate. The entire place is just managed better and cleaner! We have ordered several times using the apps and all the food has been prepared the way it was entered in the app. The soups and fries have been hot and fresh each time we have ordered. This past weekend, they were busy but drive thru line moved quickly. If you don't want to wait a few minutes than go to a normal "fast food" place, food is made to order like Culver's not sure why people are complaining! Wonderful staff and management. Thanks for remodeling and making it even better. We haven't go sick from this location since it was remodeled and corporate took it over. The last management ran it to the ground, the place was so dirty.”

And there is another employee who is related to them by way of marriage, and she was awesome to talk to. “This place was on our bucket list of Lake Country taverns before the pandemic and we finally strolled in on a recent summer Saturday. The bloodies are great, made with a homemade mix, the fried chicken was flavorful and juicy (if almost too crispy) and the cheesesteak could feed a small family. This place has not been immune to the price hikes, just like everywhere (the $17.95 for the chicken) but the food was way better than expected, the bloodies are just right, and the beer is cold. The ambiance is exactly what you're thinking it should be and fulfills the charm prophecy its exterior promises.”

“I went to Señor Tomas a few hours ago to catch up with a friend and it was amazing. Christina was our waitress and she was so sweet. She brought us chips and salsa right away and made sure our drinks were always full. I ordered the Livingston Shrimp Bisque and it is seriously my new favorite soup. It also came with a side of cornbread and guava sauce. I am looking forward to next time!”

“Burger was dry with no flavor. Bun was burned. The crinkle fries were from a bag and over cooked. Some people like them that way but I don’t. The custard is more like a cheap soft serve. It is not thick or creamy. The vanilla had very little flavor. The waffle cones were huge. Now the good stuff. Their customer service was amazing! The front cashier and server were attentive and professional with a very caring demeanor. They deserve the four stars. The food gets zero.”

“This place is beyond A-M-A-Z-I-N -G. We've never been "regulars" at any other restaurant in our entire lives besides this one... Reason being: The owner/staff are super friendly and appreciative for the business, she remembers us every week... And our order. This week she even gave us a surprise dessert (I believe it's tempura/fried Oreos w whip cream, but idk we haven't tried :) ) the food is the best. We typically ONLY do the sushi, but have tried other dishes over the years and they're all great. But, their sushi is next level... My photos don't do them justice bc they got slightly squashed, but unlike most sushi places whose rolls are heavy on rice, not the seafood or toppings, ichiban does it the opposite. They are heavy on the good stuff w just the right amount of rice. We are so grateful for this restaurant being as close as it is to our house, however, we'd probably drive an hour if we had to! Can't recommend this restaurant more! Yum yum yum!!!!”

“So good and giant portions for the price! Friendly staff and amazing food. Have not been here in 20+ years since I was a teenager but was craving Italian food at a decent price. When I got there I opted for a sub because they sounded so delicious. My boyfriend got the meatball sub and I got a turkey sub - both were served hot. We also got cheese garlic bread and wings for an appetizer. Definitely will not take me over 20 years to come back!”

“Erik took great care in preparing my Hawaiian gluten free pizza. As with gluten free baking, it is hard to get all the crust to perfection. However Mke pizza achieved over 90% perfection with the crust just slightly browned and crisp. The pineapple banana protein smoothie was awesome. Erik went beyond his talent as a pizza maker by catering(pun intended) to offer a senior discount. Well done!!!”
