“This is the epitome of your home grown local loving bookstore. The ladies who work there are the most pleasant, helpful, and fun loving individuals (and a woman owned business to boot!). You walk into the store and you're hit with that smell of fresh, brand new pages and that relaxing feeling of welcome, let's find you an amazing book to read. Not only do they have books for every age group and every genre but they have everything else as well - toys, pens, sassy socks, greeting cards, jewelry, gifts, etc. - honestly a little bit of everything. You come in and you feel like you're home, no matter what. You won't regret walking into this place; in fact, you better prepare for your return adventure!”

“I didn’t actually know this shop existed until a friend gave me a gift card for my birthday last year. It took me a while to finally make my way into Laguna to check the place out. I can’t even tell you how many times or how much I think my friend for not only the gift of the card, but the gift of the knowledge of this fantastic shop! All of the employees are so friendly and helpful. There are great little cards with notes under so many books to help guide you through your purchasing. I can’t say enough about how lovely it feels just to be inside the shop.”

“Kepler's Books is our favorite bookstore in the Bay Area. The way they organize their books makes it easy to find and subject you're interested in. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.”

“I’m incredibly grateful to have found myself in New Mexico, where the local sober community introduced me to Richard Rohr’s teachings. I grew up in a household that wasn’t anti-religious but also knew no faith and I became a fabulous example of self-will run riot. I also had many interactions with religious folks who detracted me from their punitive, judgmental, oppressive interpretation of God. My spiritual path started out of sheer urgent necessity with Eckhart Tolle, Tara Brach, and other non-denominational teachers but has been increasingly expanding to include the Bhagavad Gita and other spiritual texts. Richard’s teachings have expanded this even more to include the truth of Jesus’s teachings and furthermore explain how so many have weaponized the Bible in a way that has turned so many, such as myself, away. I was so excited to visit the center and was given the warmest of welcomes today, and enjoyed hours under the beautiful cottonwood tree. I purchased a few audio CDs for my upcoming road trip moving permanently here from NY and was graciously gifted “Following the Mystics Through the Narrow Gate”. I look forward to continued guidance in turning my will and my life over to the care of God; a loving God as I’m coming to understand ❤️”

“Would give 10 stars if I could. I ordered an arrangement to welcome my new grandson. It was stunning and unique. The variety and freshness of flowers was above and beyond. Pictures don't do this arrangement justice. Thank you so much for a unique and breathtaking arrangement! The vase was as beautiful as the flowers! Highly recommend and I will be back!”

“what a great place. Everything is so organized, there are scads and scads of books, and the employees there are so friendly. I got two hardcover books and a paperback, first time in great shape, for a ridiculously low price. Will definitely go back”

“Very wide collection of comics and funkos as well as figures. They had a nice selection of grade comics. Funkos were all in great condition and priced well. The owners were super sweet and helpful. We spent some time just talking to them. Highly recommend checking their shop out.”

“Absolutely love this place! It is small, but the book selection is phenomenal. Also, the cafe space, including a pretty large outdoor area, is wonderful. I had a sandwich on Sunday that I am still daydreaming about on Wednesday! I think it was called the hippie sandwich and I had it made vegan.”

“It has many Japanese goods and stationery items. The display of books and small and cute items is just like in Japan. So, it reminds me of the bookstores I used to visit in Japan. A fountain pen vendor used to be also here, but it seems that he closed it during covid, which is a disappointment to me as I enjoyed browsing fountain pens.”

“Amazing! I went in to buy Christmas present for friend and I am in awe of the creative and interesting inventory! I do not collect crystals, but thanks to the help of a knowledgeable staff, was able to get the right gift. The store is not just about crystals but the metaphysical, including intriguing books, candles, jewelry, and other items that tempt the mind to make impulse buys. Which of course I did. Truly a fun experience. Rock on!”

“Can't complain. There are not many places that will provide used school supplies for teachers, because brand new items are outrageously expensive. Sometimes, it's a hit or miss, and it can be a treasure trove if you find what you're looking for. I have used some of the items in my classroom. Very grateful for a place like this.”

“Very nice staff, this is one of nicest Barnes and nobles I have ever been to. The restrooms are clean, so many sections of books and my Starbucks drink was nice and flavorful . If I lived in New Jersey this would be my go to place for Starbucks.”

“This store is such an amazing gem. The staff are so welcoming and it’s such a unique and special place in Venice. They have one of kind, hand made goods and the best gifts for friends and family. First place I go for anyone’s birthday or celebration. I’ve also been to a few fun music nights at the shop that I stumbled on walking by, so fun. If you’re in LA, it’s must visit spot”

“They have so much merchandise I think they are starving for a place to put it but the prices are awesome and the people who work there are always helpful and nice. If you have a project going on it's worth your while to stop and see what they have.”

“I ABSOLUTELY LOVE shopping here! There is such a peaceful, calming vibe that washes over you the moment you walk through the door. Leaving no space unused, there are so many wonderful items to see. The ladies working here are very friendly, helpful, and informative. I have always been greeted with warm “hellos” and smiling faces. Eclectic By Nature carries such a wide variety of items such as spirituality products, books/cards/journals, jewelry, candles, essential oils, crystals, incense, herbs, wall art…and much much more! There is something here for everyone and for many different spiritual beliefs. Either before or after your shopping experience, take a leisurely stroll through the brick-paved gardens. Look closely and you’ll spot little garden gnomes, fairies, and other statuary just waiting for you to find them hiding amongst the colorful flowers and fragrant herbs. My daughter and I both have purchased many different items from this store and we have been very pleased with the things we have bought. The prices here, I feel, are appropriate for the quality of the items you’re getting. I am definitely a happy and returning customer.”
