It all started a few months ago when we had completed our living, den and dining area remodel and it was time to fill it up with furniture. I started perusing the web, visiting different furniture stores however I felt that it was going to be very difficult to put all the pieces together and visualize how it will end up. its not like you can bring home a couch and if it doesn't fit take it back and even if you could think of all the back and forth, time and energy wasted. one day i decided to make a wish to find someone who can design and pick the furniture for me. my wish came true when i found Designers Furniture. i called and booked an appt to visit Meryl and discuss our needs. From the moment we walked into their showroom in santa monica to the day i received my furniture it was the best experience! Merryl and Tina were sincere, passionate, and professionals. They’ve been in the business for a very long time and knew how to help us navigate the process of design and choosing furniture. The first step was for Meryl to visit our house and take the measurements and draw up a design. Next she started putting together the furniture based on our overall desires as well as input from her. Followed up with the fabrics and color schemes for each area. Throughout the whole process she kept us informed of the deliverables as well as where we were at any given time throughout the project. She bent over backwards to find the perfect combination of the furniture throughout the home. Meryl is passionate, smart, sincere, patient, and is great to work with. I would recommend Meryl and Tina for all your projects and can’t rave enough about them and the overall experience I had. “I have boat and the canvas was close to 20 years old; the windows were cloudy and the from cover was disintegrating. Rodo’s upholstery replaced the large window on one piece and fabricated an all new very large piece for the front piece for the front. Rodo’s did the job perfect! In addition is was done timely and reasonably especially for the craftsmanship. I visited the shop a few times to drop off & pick up the canvas & such every time I visited, I was always impressed with pieces I saw in his shop. I’ll be back for any future upholstery needs; very happy!”

“I realized I had left some items behind one day after getting home. I called and spoke to a nice gentleman, Doug, to who I explained what happened. He went and looked in some areas I could have left them and called me back, like he said he would. He told me if they were found, they would be waiting at customer service. Luckily I had my receipt. I also told him I was coming back to the store to look myself. When I got to customer service, Doug was with another customer. So when I told another associate what I came for, Doug jumped in and said, “It’s right here!”. I was so excited to retrieve my items. The items weren’t a big deal that day.
