“I spent months trying to find a quality comic shop on the peninsula. I found an okay shop here that had a few of my titles, and an alright shop there that had a couple more, but I ended up with a lot of gaps in my collection. I had all but given up completely when I decided it was worth a trip down to Sunnyvale to check out one more place. From the moment I entered, I knew I had finally found my shop. The owner was there working the counter. I told him my story and within five minutes he was on his computer confirming that he could re-order all the comics I missed that he didn't already have in stock. He set me up with the subscription service so that I wouldn't miss any more, and was super understanding that I was only going to be able to make it down to Sunnyvale once every couple months.”

“I was visiting my mother in Tampa and did not want to miss the latest issues that come out on Wednesday. This was the closest store my my mother's home. I have visited several comic book shops around the country. There are so many comic books out there (lets not talk about trades and collectibles), that many stores find it difficult to really lay out there store to allow it to be navigated easily. I will say Yancy Street Comics has the best layout I have seen in a long time. Everything was where it was needed to be. I found everything I wanted quickly. They had an awesome selection as well (many comic shops don't because they don't have the space for it). I was looking for some back issues and found each one. The store is clean and well spaced. I will definitely recommend it to my comrades and when I visit my mother, this will be the first place I go to.”

We are not catholic so the non-Catholic choices were limited but there WERE beautiful choices available. One must bear in mind that this is a catholic dominated area, so that would explain why there are more options available for the catholic population. You can find many wonderful gifts here no matter what your beliefs are. I will happily shop here again. I found bracelets for the girls and prayer stones for the boys.
