“This is the best comic and game store I've ever found, not just in GA. Looking for back issues? They have a ton. New issues? Probably the best stock you'll find? Special orders and variants? Cliff will be happy to talk to you about all of it and get you set up. Are you like me and are so busy you can't make it by the shop often but you want to keep up with everything? They've got you there too. Just talk to cliff about subscribing to your issues and they will pull them for you.”

“This place is great. I think the merchandise is better than you find at other thrifts here in town, i.e. zippers not broken, buttons not missing. Clothing is not "overused". Mondays are great. Everything in the store is 1/2 off. Google search says it's located at Superstition Springs, however, it's about a mile south of Superstition Mall at SW corner of Baseline and Power rds.”

“I received the book written by Patricia Masters regarding Mary Foster's Life, a native Hawaiian who advocated for the spread of Buddhism and restoring Buddhist historic sacred site of Maha Bodhi temple of India, Bodh Gaya with the Sri Lankan national hero advocate, Sri Angarika Dharmapala from the Buddhist Study Centre. Hoshina Seki is the lady president who is sincere and kind and I am so happy to have met her. With her compassionate words and encouragement I am so inspired to be a good person. I enjoyed reading the book about Mary Fosters and is nice to hear about the Hawaiian cultures and early history. Leaves of My Heart by Lady Kujo and I am going to get one of it when published and I am amazed by her wisdom and compassion including her contribution to her dedicated social work. I have read some extract of her essays and can't wait to read all of those essays. It is such a lovely way to learn Buddhism.”

“Gift shop has unique items and standard stuff. But the new restaurant at the same location, on lower level has limited weekday afternoon hours. Best for carryout. Food is delicious and a real value. Name is Deli on Crown. Could have a better name, but you don't eat the name. Staff is attentive and prepares consistently delicious food. We will be back soon.”

“Gregor Rare Books was nostalgic and hit every heart sting in my soul. My husband and I visited Langley, WA, which is a quaint, lovely, tourist town on the southern part of Whidbey Island, accesible from the mainland via the Mukilteo Ferry or a drive through Deception Point at the Northern end of the Island. Langley has evolved from a sleepy island community into a high end tourist destination where dot com employees can spend a weekend and a ton of cash on just about everything you can imagine. A tourist who isn’t heavy with cash can still enjoy some of the town’s shopping experiences. The eateries offer broad selections and prices, so taking a day for lunch and a nice walk won’t break the bank. Being retired or on a budget still works! Now, down to business. My favorite find in downtown Langley was Gregor Rare Books. It was exactly like walking into the same store twenty-five years ago. The vibe was perfect and felt like a sanctuary from the downtown glitz and bling of Seattle. But best of all, was David Gregor. He was a true bohemian in his mellow unassuming nature, sitting behind his desk reading the latest book about Leonard Cohen. I cruised the few aisles and felt that David Gregor had hit the bells and whistles of what any book collector would want in his or her collection. Being an ex collector myself, I checked prices and conditions. The books were well priced for their value. His collection included Hemingway, Kesey, Steinbeck, Hesse, Kerouac, Harrison and too many more to mention. The books in this store were the books I cut my teeth on and grew up with. He hit most of the greatest writers of our time. It wasn’t lost on me that David Gregor had about five titles by his own hand, two of which I bought and are currently on my reading stack. Did I mention that he is also a musician? David is just a really smart guy who happens to be very well read, can play the guitar, is disciplined enough to write and has a beautiful bookstore in downtown Langley. Jesus tap dancing Christ. Perfect life. He is hanging out, just being …… a bohemian.”

“Such a cute little coffee shop! I love how there is an indoor and outdoor area. The outdoor area has great sized umbrellas so you can work in the shade. I’m not sure if there are outlets outside but it would be even better if there are! Such a cute little gift area and a great coffee selection. Way better than a corporate coffee joint. Shop local!”

“I love this company for having a publicly available water spigot outside their entrance, however I have never experienced any of their goods or services. Being good to the homeless and vehicle dwelling locals by not cutting off the water spigot here is a fantastic sign though that these folks honestly care about people (a good sign if you ask me!) 😁 Thanks, Small Press Distribution!!! 🥰”

“Oy Toys/And Thou Shalt Read is your go-to bookstore for your Jewish children's and pet toys, and children's books. Christian items are also available. It's also a great place for unique religious gifts - we all have Jewish friends we often don't know how to buy for at holiday times. I have never seen a bookstore with so much to offer in so little space! RuthE will find what you need whether she carries it or not, and she'll ship anywhere. Forget online, just ask RuthE for what you need and she'll save you the time browsing and researching with her vast knowledge and helpful tips. A must stop and shop in North Metro Atlanta!”

“Locally owned vintage collectibles store. They buy, sell, and trade vintage toys and collectibles spanning pretty much every decade. I've seen limited current action figures, '80s to current GI Joe, POP, 70's to current Star Wars, and everything in between. Seriously, wrestling figures to Mr Potato Head to Alien. Ghostbusters to anime to Hot Wheels. They even have some store displays available. Stock changes regularly. They mentioned a website but I haven't seen it. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. Store used to be tiny and super cluttered but they expanded and now easy to navigate. Definitely worth a visit for action figure and toy collectors.”

“It’s a fascinating place. Fun to navigate and the owner is very willing to help. The only challenge, and it’s no small thing, is that the vast majority of titles require you to climb up on a ladder to reach it wait until they can fetch them for you, because it’s a vertical book shop.”

“I've been to this location a few times and I like how organized this store is. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful when trying to find something, especially since the store came under new management. Employees are doing an awesome job freshening up the space and making it easier for the customers to be engaged with new products they are getting on the shelves. As always, great low prices.”

“We love our little hometown bookstore. Always great deals on both new and used books. The kids and I love going to the sidewalk sales and finding new books to tryout and expire without breaking the bank. And the online book bundles a great when I don't have time to go in and shop around. Definitely a place for all book lovers.”
