“Sharla is an amazing talent and her work truly made my wedding spectacular. Sharla was so present and accessible throughout the planning process. She showed up to all of the venue walkthroughs and regularly made herself available for meetings in her studio as well. My wedding had a lot of artistic voices (my mom, a wedding planner, and a designer) and she was able to seamlessly incorporate feedback and deliver on everyone’s visions! Our ceremony set-up included a treasured, fragile Chuppah that she respected and treated with the utmost care while still making everything look gorgeous. Our event was pretty complex with multiple locations and installations and Sharla rose to the challenge and was so collaborative with our other vendors to execute the whole event. Perhaps the most difficult aspect was the incredibly short period of time she had to set up our ceremony location (which was in a museum), but you wouldn’t have known there was any rush or challenge based on the final product, which was spectacular. In a wedding where Monet’s water lilies are the design inspiration, the bar for florals is pretty high, and Sharla truly exceeded all my wildest expectations on how beautiful florals can be. Have your shopping list ready, stop in at Starbucks inside of the Albertsons itself, and have a sip while you shop. These are things I always buy and often can't find in smaller, independent grocery stores. The produce prices were good, with specialty apples ranging from $2-3 per lb, which I have often paid at bigger markets, and dry grocery prices not exorbitant either. The overall bill was a bit higher than at a big-box store, but quite acceptable.”

“My husband and I were doing a 10 year vow renewal. The original place we decided on required a 'day of coordinator'. That's how we found Amanda at Bluebonnet Events. She was easy to talk to and easy to trust. As the date approached we realized that, even with the small package that we chose, the venue was still going to be over our already tight budget. We asked Amanda to think WAY out side the box for the 30 people or less guest list. She reached out and had a meeting with the Hard Rock Cafe. This was the perfect place for our red carpet themed wedding do-over. Amanda helped me keep in contact with Hard Rock when I had questions and needed clarification on stuff. Being able to get in touch with Amanda whenever I needed really put my mind at ease. There were a few times when I hit panic mode and Amanda was there to reassure me and take care of whatever the issue was right away. Not only was she there for the rehearsal, she came to the walk-through the week prior. I can't sing her praises enough. Amanda made it really easy to enjoy the wedding day with my family and be care free. I made the flower arrangements and some of the table décor but rented the rest of the themed décor from her. It turned out so much better than I imagined. The hair and makeup ladies that Amanda recommended also did an amazing job. The wedding went smoothly. Everyone had a great time.
