“I attended a wedding there April 5, 2014. I live in Southern California and have high expectations for weddings, not that they have to be expensive, but just tastefully done and have unique venues. So when I found out the wedding was in Porterville, I was not expecting much. But I was wrong! This venue was beautiful AND unique! The first thing I noticed was how clean the grounds were, including the bathrooms and how perfectly maintained the grass was in the ceremony area. The lighting under the barn at night was so pretty and I appreciated the kid's play area was a safe distance from the barn where the adults hung out. I thought it was a great idea to have those games (Foosball, Air Hockey, Basket Ball, etc) for the kids. My only two criticisms would be (1) The table cloths on the reception tables were that outdated 80's shiny crinkly material but I'm sure that can be changed out easily and maybe the venue didn't even provide them, I'm not sure and (2) The folks running the bar looked very unprofessional. They should have been wearing nice uniforms of some sort instead of ugly polo shirts. They were too casual even for a "country wedding".”

“I have never shopped at the Albertsons in Cleburne before but after having no luck finding a store to make a cake I decided to go there. The lady at the bakery section was a sweetheart! As I ordered the cake she was able to show me color examples and gave me suggestions and let me know why certain things that I was asking for wouldn’t work.
