“I purchased catering services for my daughters baby shower located at my home, outside under tents. Karen returned my call promptly (and she was on vacation), we spoke again to finalize details. She was wonderful in answering my questions regarding the menu for the guest count. Karen and her husband delivered the food at the time we agreed and it was provided on trays with a perfect visual presentation. ALL the food was DELICIOUS!! My guests were impressed and I was very pleased. Catering provided me time to enjoy the day with family and friends and not fuss in the kitchen. The chicken salad, sandwiches, pasta, appetizer tray, fruit tray, and veggie tray were spot-on!! Also ordered fresh baked cookies and a cake. Our theme included hot-air balloons and they provided an assortment of cookies and one design was a hot-air balloon! Just AMAZING!!!! I'll use Karen's service again and highly recommend!!! “The perfect combination of class and quality. First of all, unmatched service and manners from the staff. I felt like I had been coming here for years even though I’m not even from Long Island. The food is to die for. It’s so delicious and there’s so much of it. Don’t be fooled, this isn’t a silly, NYC overpriced “fine” Italian restaurant. This was made for everyone. The prices are perfectly matched for the portion size. You think it’s too much? You’ll be taking some food home for a few days. Don’t you worry. It’s worth every penny. The Chinese Chicken is top notch. I had to put that out there before I note anything else. We started with La Parma salads which were a nice, light opener. Then we got the Brussels sprouts, calamari, Chinese chicken, salmon, and a pasta with broccoli. I won’t even try to explain it. It was all so good. Go for yourself and understand why this is such an incredible institution.”

“Food is really good. Sauce is towards the sweet taste style of red sauce. The house dressing is like a zesty Italian so it has a bit of a bite. Lots of variety on the menu. Pizza fries too. Most of the staff are very warm and welcoming. Great portions and food is served hot. Has outdoor dining area as well as run down/dated cozy inside. Only downside to this place is the neighborhood behind it and the tiny giant convenience store next door. There are some rough people that will harass you at night and they tend to target women more. So use caution if going alone. Wish they'd just move the restaurant to a new place.”

They seem to do a huge take out business and I can see why. The same gal is always working the front counter and is super friendly and appreciative of the business. NOT the nicest of locations but it's safe and always pretty dead around that part of troost. There sweet and sour chicken n pork are BOTH great options. The Mongolian beef was also amazing.”

The Memphis BBQ with Italian Sausage and Jalapenos is awesome, now they are not perfect because if you call them directly it seems like an eternity for them to answer due to staffing so just drive up there for a pickup.”
