“It was good, but a little spicier than I had at first anticipated. It snuck up on me. I ordered the large serving of orange chicken, broccoli and rice, and it tasted good. But the spices snuck up on me, and finally caught me. With the coughing, runny nose, sweating, and eventually heat in my mouth, I though that I was coming down with Covid...until I realized too late what was going on. So it should be just right for normal people not averse to a little spice. (Chuckle)”

“Had a break between baseball games at Skip Wilson Field so we decided to try Zakes based on proximity and Google reviews. I called ahead and even on a Sunday midmorning they were able to seat us right away. The restaurant is in a converted stone house so there is a unique charm to the surroundings. We were seated on the enclosed porch which was nice, I prefer to eat outside but this was fine. After sitting for a few minutes our drink order was taken then shortly after our waitress took our order. Their menu is what you expect for a breakfast and lunch place. There were at least a half dozen items I would have liked to try but settled on the honey and lemon pancakes with raspberries. WOW these were good! Not only were they good but it was just a few minutes after ordering that the food came out. The staff was very friendly and attentive to the customers. Prices were reasonable for what you got, I look forward to eating there again. Additionally, they use paper straws not plastic, THANK YOU!”

“Good food, great service. Walked in just before I started work at 12pm. Came for a quick lunch, dine in. Decided to try 4 tacos. Asada, carnitas, chicken, and fish. Tacos were really good, they came out quickly, tasted fresh. The salsa had a kick to it as I got the spicier of the two options. Carnitas and asada tacos stood above everything, and as for the fish taco, if that was Nemo I'm sure he wouldn't even be mad. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good meal.”

“Every time I've ordered from Domino's in Kaufman I've had great service by happy employees. The order has always been right and I'm always impressed at how efficient and timely they are. The minute you walk in the door, they direct their attention to you to ensure you are or have been taken care of. Never once have I had a bad or even mediocre experience. Working in the hospitality and food/service industry is not always easy. They really do a great job. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I've been having lots of challenges getting logged into the app. which is quite frustrating, but that's not directly related to this specific store.”

We had a minor problem at our charity fund-raiser with the delivery of the salads, and not only did the Corporate people make everything right for us, but this location (the delivering location) also gave us a free future order.
