“while I agree that the recliner seating design has made it harder to get a ticket to a movie here, and in a seat you prefer, I'm not sure I would want to go back to the old seats. Movie goers had not been going to the theaters for years and with ever increasing prices that was not going to change. However with the advent of subscription pricing models (movie pass, and now stubs A list at AMC) it may become affordable to go to the movies again. Of course in my opinion that is a double edged sword because they are built on the premise that to get your money's worth on that monthly subscription you are best served to hit up the theater often. This in turn will only make it harder to get a seat. So although I am wondering if regal will eventually offer their own subscription service or not, I am not sure whether or not it would be a good thing, especially for this location.”

“My favorite local theatre, while it may be a bit faded on the outside don't let that stop you from going in. For inside you will find a truly comfortable movie going experience! They have very crisp sounding sound systems (and this does matter, i have been to movie theatres with terrible systems and this ruins the whole experience) excellently sized screens and a great ratio of spacing between the screen and the seats. Overall, always a great time the staff is friendly and really there are no downsides. Pro tip! Try to go during matinee hours, movie tickets cost 8 bucks and it's often quieter during these times. Highly recommended!”

“Saw a 70mm print of 2001 A Space Odyssey here. The seats are in need of refurbishment and they're set too low to the ground, a specific tile is so in need of cleaning that it was distracting, a speaker or sub had come looses at rattled conspicuously, and an announcement from the projection room came as soon as the credits began to roll so the audience could be ushered out to make room for the next show. That said, the experience of seeing one of Kubrick's masterpieces on a four story 'screen' is not something I'm going to forget. Worth the price of admission and then some. Aside from the actual experience, the $15 was a welcome surprise and parking in the Franklin Institute's garage is convenient and easy to get in and out of; back to I-95 in ten minutes.”

The parking lot is huge and it is easy to park. Sound and image quality are excellent. It is a little out of the way. But that is ok since it allows for good parking. All in all a good place to see a movie.”

Love the comfy seats(except the theater all the way in the back) love that they play movies for a while (I cant always get there week one).my popcorn bucket I get at the beginning of the year is truly a great deal. So sad that this theater is now closed, I use to go to the movies once every 4-5 months. Once I started going to this theater I went with my daughter at least once a month. Sometimes multiple times with the Tuesday deal. Wish they would have closed the one next to shore mall and kept this one.”
