“I received a tour this afternoon by Duncan who was extremely knowledgeable and generous to take over an hour to give me a tour of the place and answer all my questions. He was an expert on the house and has clearly put a lot of work into curating the museum. I really enjoyed learning about many objects and the home’s history-there are so many cool things to learn and artifacts to see over a 200-year history. The grounds are beautiful in the middle of a busting midtown neighborhood. I was told a tornado did some damage to the gutters/soffit that will soon be repaired!”

“Everybody was nice - you pick up what's going on in your town - like you know a water leak and how they're going to fix it at a business nearby. How to do things online- today I used their Wi-Fi to download an app, and they'll show you how to go from a cell phone to a computer that they have- it's different using one or the other for internet. I can't print at home so I can go there to make copies and then of course they probably got a copy machine. So there you go!”

The staff got each of us set up with our own library cards and were very friendly and kind to my daughters. There is a great young kids area where my girls could play in a little house and kitchen, do puzzles, and sit on a little couch and read books.”

“The Ocean County Library, Brick Branch, is a great place to learn, explore, and connect with the community. They have a huge selection of books, DVDs, and audiobooks for all ages. The librarians are super helpful and can assist you with finding new reading material, both in print and electronic formats. There are several designated quiet areas where you can work or study. If you need to use a laptop, the library has several available for public use. They also have charging stations for various types of phones, which is a nice touch. The library hosts a variety of events for all ages. The other day, they had a craft featuring frozen chocolate drinks. The library has plenty of parking and it was an absolute joy to visit.”

“I've been utilizing this library for several years. Everyone is always socially interactive, helpful, patient, & kind. They are knowledgeable, & always willing to help patrons with whatever they are in need of. The facility is always clean, neat, & orderly. They have a free computer lab with internet access, as well as printing/copying for a reasonable fee. If there is a book or other resource needed, they're always willing to help look it up, try to locate it, & order it; they'll notify you when it arrives. There are (2) private study rooms, & a conference room. They hold special events there as well. They hosted a free Super Bowl pizza party with door prizes that I also attended once. I didn't know anyone other than the employees, but still enjoyed the event, & it was a welcome break from my studies. They do allow people to utilize their internet service from the parking lot as well, & keep activities posted on a bulletin board. They almost always have books for sale as well, which, as an avid reader, it's a great way to help support the local library while building up your own home library. They have a colorful, enticing children's area as well, & my granddaughter loves to go there. There's another library closer to where I live now, but I still go to the Pettigrew Library in Perquimons County/Hertford because of the people there; they're great.”

“I didn't stay long, but it was very comfortable. What surprised me was that there was a library in the small shopping center. Most libraries are on an independent site, but this is interesting.The parking lot is spacious enough, but there is limited space for shady parking. However, as the sun moves over time, parking in the shade will only last a few hours.It may be a hidden gem of a library. You can borrow and read books while you're out shopping.”
