“Navy does a great job with facilities and services. Coastal weather has taken it's toll over the years but management is fixing old, empty buildings a little at a time. The roads could use some work. There's much new construction going on. Navy Lodge is awesome. The gym is great but could use a lap pool and some tennis courts. The static aircraft displays are cool but need some paint and placards. I'd like to see more historical markers to learn more about what's gone on there.”

“Flying In this beautiful open cockpit biplane Is one of the coolest things I have ever done. Tillie is 80 years old, and runs like a top. She sounds like a hot rod, and responds flawlessly to inputs on the control stick. Her owner and pilot couldn't be any nicer, and they are based in a bautiful part of the country. Pure flight, accompanied with pure joy. Best money I ever spent.”

“Columbus airport on the Southwest Gate is pretty clean. Restrooms are maintained as well. Arriving here at 6:30pm took me about 45 minutes to get through TSA. They have a new X Ray Machine that do not require us to take out any laptops or computers from our luggage. So it took a little longer to get through. Once in the Gateway, restaurants were calling last call and some of the kitchens were closed. Donatos had to close their kitchen because someone called in. My flight was delayed so I had to get on another flight to try and get home. Overall, airport is pretty easy to get in and get out. If your renting a vehicle, you get on a van that takes you to rent center and vice versa. The attendants there are working hard to get you on a vehicle. Good luck on your next flight.”

“I first became a member of the MANG Aero Club in 2002. This is where I learned to fly, in MANG aircraft. I have enjoyed many years of affordable flying, made many friends at the club, and enjoyed the club activities. Availability of the aircraft has always been excellent. The aircraft are easily available for scheduling with the club's cell phone app. The planes are well maintained by an A&P - a long time club member who know these planes well. The club officers do a great job of sustaining the club and the availability of the aircraft. You can become as active in the club activities as you want to, but plane washes and the following lunch are a great place to ask questions and learn more about flying. When you own a plane, you will spend a lot of time working on it rather than flying. At MANG, you can just fly.”
