“This is the best auto mechanic shop I have ever seen. 1. Firstly other mechanics had said that my engine was dead and needed to be replaced and these guys found I just needed to replace a sensor for a couple hundred bucks and the car was working good as normal ! saved 10k right there 2. Second I needed a new starter for the same Lexus, all other shops were charging like 700 and these guys got it done for like 350 parts and labor, wow 3. Now I'm here at Lamp post pizza waiting for my car again, this time a bad wheel barring making it super loud when driving like the wheel is about to explode, was hoping less than 800 from these guys, they just called and said they'd get it done for 350 ! wow. These guys have saved my car and life so many times at about a third to a half of the price of anyone else, and 10 times less expensive than taking it in to the Lexus dealership. Thank you so much Ernie and Tony for helping me with all my car problems with such great quality service and the best prices in town. Highly recommend this secret hidden gem of a place in the heart of Vista. Thanks again !”

“I was visiting from out of state and my car's check engine light came on. Just bought the car with less than a week ago with day of fresh inspection so I didn't know what could be wrong. Being out of town it can be difficult to find a mechanic that's either available and trustworthy. I called 2 other places and neither could fit me in that day but when I called Salamanca Sales they were able to get me in that day. These guys did everything our tired engine needed. their work was accurate and professionally done! We were impressed! The tolerances are factory correct, it's beautiful workmanship. The engine is new internally. It runs beautifully! I'm impressed with the quality work D & D did for us. It's a working shop so don't expect carpet and piped in music.
