“Lived here two years. Management changed many times. Place is alot better now, than when we first moved in. Place is now called Apex Apartments. Looks better on the outside now. For the entire two years the pool was unavailable. Did not get a chance to swim at all during the entire two years.... The place is alot safer now, than it was when we first moved in. A few attempted home invasions was prevented due to being armed. Now the crazies are gone. As for my apartment I did NOT see a single bug for the entire two years. No rodents was ever seen. To be honest the place is way over priced for what it is. The laundry room has many washers and dryers that don't work. Most have not worked for at least a year. There is only a basketball court. Nothing else. As for the ac.. it worked good for the entire two years. Apartment was always cold.”

“If you’re looking for an old-fashioned fishing cabin, this is the place for you. It’s simple, clean, and friendly, with a retro vibe. Well maintained. Ms Pally, the owner, has been hosting renters for 47 years. We brought our kayaks and the boys toured Big Trade Lake. It’s a beautiful lake. Not too busy. We saw Sandhills, Eagles, and woodpeckers. We fished from the row boat (there’s one included in each rental) and from the dock. Lots of nice sized sunfish and bass, so far. There’s a ‘Braggin’ Board’ in the community room/store. Lots of big fish caught by others. The beds are full size.”

The hosts provided all the details we needed to plan our weekend. After a tour of the wineries, we had a cookout and fire on the lawn. “This is an older property that has some recent renovations. The lobby is tight, the hall carpets show a bit of ware, the breakfast is classic sugary carbs with ok coffee. Overall, the room was clean with recent floor, bathroom and counter renovations. Furniture and fixtures showed their age with the USB outlets at the base of the lamps not working. The TV was dated and low resolution. When you consider the cost and alternates this was a decent value for a short stay where the need is for a safe, clean and comfortable place to stay.”

I found this campground safe, friendly, and relaxing. This campground is set up to accommodate all camp styles (seasonal, overnight, tent, RV, water/electric and dry camping). “The White Garden Inn is a hidden gem in Oxford! I happened to find it 4 years ago when searching for a places to stay when visiting our college aged son in Oxford. We stayed in a hotel during our first trip to Oxford and afterwards, I knew I had to find another option for next time. The White Garden Inn has it all! The owners, Quinn and Laura are so hospitable. From the moment you walk in, you feel at home. There is a mini fridge in the back of the house with beer, sparkling water, soda and wine. We love to grab a beverage and sit in the wicker rocking chairs while enjoying the beautiful grounds. The rooms are so quaint and have their own private bathroom and everything is very clean. Of course the breakfast each morning is wonderful and they always welcome our son to join us. It’s a short 3 miles from the University and I highly recommend it!! We stay here every time we visit Oxford!”

The laundry machines and laundry room need a clean. My room was very clean and the AC worked well. I’m happy with my stay so far. The area is not too noisy.”

“Looking at the pictures from years ago the place has changed a lot and it's because of the time invested in the design and vibe you get once you arrive: it's a journey back in time the way in through the Ruta el Médano to finally get there. You HAVE to get here to meet one of Rosaritos pioneers in that route. It's a place for you to go, stay, connect with the hills and leave the city life alone for a while and relax! Stop thinking about it and get here, make the reservation directly with the admin and they can accept up to 80 people for private events. On the location, it's a little hard to get there and you do need a 4 by 4 or you can hire their service of pick up.”
