Galaxy Theatres Gig Harbor IMAX

Address: 4649 Point Fosdick Dr, Gig Harbor, WA 98335, USA

Movie theater

“Super comfy seats, great sound, and friendly staff. I love that you can grab a beer and take it into any of the theaters. The seats each have a "TV tray" that swivels so you can use that for your food and drink. The seats also recline and there is a short wall between the seats in front and the seats behind so it feels very private. We went to see the imax but it wasn't a gigantic screen like other imax screens I've been to.”

The ShowRoom Cinema - Asbury Park

Address: 707 Cookman Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712, USA

Movie theater

“I had the opportunity to visit The ShowRoom Cinema this past weekend to view the assortment of Oscar Nominated Best Short documentaries. This was my first time at this theater and I have a few thoughts... First impressions is that the staff here are really terrific. Everyone smiled and was welcoming. A few of us had issues with our downloaded tickets not showing up on our phone and they were very happy to assist and look up our orders. There is a very cute concession stand in the lobby. Our presentation was in theater #3 located upstairs. I'll concentrate my thoughts on that auditorium and the presentation. Now, I'm a home theater guy. I have quite a bit of experience with how a movie theater should be set up. And, that experience comes into play here as the room I was in could have been anyone's small living room. It was tiny. Among the approx. 12 plush chairs in the room were some tables and lamps. One of the tables with the lamp on top collapsed during our showing. On a whole, for watching simple documentaries, the room and presentation were fine. And, perhaps, this room is solely designated for that purpose. However, if I was paying $15 to see a major motion picture here, I would be concerned. From my experience, the theaters are not set up for optimal viewing quality. The walls should be painted flat black to prevent reflection (I think they are yellow). Pictures on the wall cause reflection from projection light. Putting furniture in the room is a distraction. I sensed no surround sound capability and the presentation was projected digitally from a budget projector hoisted on a side shelf. Again, perfect for our presentation but not for a major film. And, after saying all this, I kind of understand that this is a community theater, with not a huge operating budget, and very dependent on having people support it. So, I don't mind paying the same $15 I would pay at a major venue to support independent films. I would just hope in time that small upgrades can be made in time to enhance the viewing experience further. On a whole, however, this venue deserves 5-stars for its eager and friendly staff as well as giving the community a place to see Independent films.”

Movies Inc Aransas

Address: 1277 Hwy 35 Bypass, Aransas Pass, TX 78336, USA

Movie theater

“By far the coolest theater we’ve ever been too.1/2 the ticket & snack cost compared to other theaters. They have very clean restrooms, auditorium, and theater. Their seats are so comfortable and spacious and they come with more than one cup holder! Also, they have a wide selection of alcohol and snacks, so it’s a win, win for both little and big kids. I'm glad we tried this place out instead of driving all the way into Corpus. This establishment is a gem in Aransas Pass. Thank you to the owner who put the work and dedication into this theater, we enjoyed our evening and will be back.”

Dreamland Theatre

Address: 107 Broadway St, Carson, IA 51525, USA

Movie theater

“This theater has been around for ages. Only has one theater and plays just on the weekends but that's what kind of makes it fun. It's a treat to go in our little community. The people who volunteer to keep it open are amazing as well! Plus the popcorn is pretty amazing!”

MJR Waterford Cinema 16

Address: 7501 Highland Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327, USA

“Great Family experience with large reclining chairs. Refills on popcorn and drinks no matter the size you order. Would have been a 5 Star if you didn't have to purchase your own popcorn seasoning for $1.50 for a tiny bottle and If they had a wider variety of flavors to choose from. I noticed they did have VIP chairs that were heated, can purchase tickets online or when you arrive. It is assigned seating!”

Regal Interstate Park

Address: 1089 Interstate Pkwy, Akron, OH 44312, USA

Movie theater

“Been here many times and mixed experiences every time. What I like best is that it's generally never too crowded making for a most enjoyable movie theater experience. What I don't like is that it most recently seems pretty understaffed. Only on 1 recent visit (Matrix: Resurrections) were there only 2 working the concession stands. Nobody at the ticket counter and nobody at the 'gate' to scan tickets into the theatres. I did purchase my ticket online and with a long line at the concessions, I just went directly to my theater. There is an additional 'convenience' charge online and it isn't very convenient to wait in line at concessions when I'm not purchasing anything just to enter the theater. Only other negative is pricing, but it can be expected at any theater really. $15 for a small popcorn and bottle of water... I could buy 3 cases of water and 2 boxes of popcorn at any local grocery store. Theater experience I guess. I will choose this Regal over Cinemark Tinseltown Cinemas for all my movie experiences.”

Earle Theatre

Address: 142 N Main St, Mt Airy, NC 27030, USA

Movie theater

“Loved the blue grass concert. Then, we went back that night to see the new Antman movie. How often do you get to watch a new movie in an iconic theater. We sat in the balcony just to do it. We heard people eating popcorn behind us and talking, but we looked behind us, and no one else was up there but us! Any, it was great!!! Guys working the front were super nice and the place was clean.”

Niagara Adventure Theatre

Address: 5781 Ellen Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 3P8, Canada

“Nice IMAX. It was pretty neat learning about some of the people who tried to go over the falls in all of their different contraptions, then be able to go out in to the museum and actually see a lot of them. The location was nice and clean and the staff were nice. They have a great gift shop.”

Regal Edwards Canyon Country

“One of the last drive in theaters around. Have been coming here for years. $25 a car load for 2 movies. They do permit outside food and beverages for a additional $10 fee. Also offer radio rentals for $9 if you don't want to sit inside your vehicle to watch the movies.”

Nampa Reel Theatre

“I absolutely love the reel theater! It has been a family favorite for years and years. I love that this location hasn't jacked the prices. My whole family of four were able to enjoy a movie WITH a drink, popcorn and treat each, for under $30. It's a monthly thing for us, something we don't see changing any time soon!”

Cornelius 10 Cinemas

Address: 200 N 26th Ave, Cornelius, OR 97113, USA

Movie theater

“This theater seemed sad from outside but once you’re in it’s like a completely different world. It gave a retro vibe which we loved. People working there were extremely friendly and helpful. The theater, seats, washroom and basically everything was extremely clean. We felt a homely environment and we’d definitely keep going there. I think they should start movie club membership type thing here as in Cinemark and I’m positive many people might join in but then again idk that might be just me since I’ve a movie club membership.”

Moviehouse & Eatery by Cinépolis

Address: 8450 TX-121, McKinney, TX 75070, USA

Movie theater Restaurant

“2nd time here didn't disappoint. Great food and a fun movie I ordered the poke bowl at the servers suggestion. It was really excellent. As good as anything in a restaurant. My daughter ordered the three cheese Mac. It was delicious 😋! My other daughter and husband ordered a cheeseburger. They loved it. The bread is fresh and not what you'd expect in movie theatre. We all shared popcorn. We really love the chairs that lay all the way flat. I wish they had heat too but they're really comfortable.”

Judy Drive In

Address: 4078 Maysville Rd, Mt Sterling, KY 40353, USA

Movie theater

“Best piece of history that's still hanging around. Since COVID, the drive in has become out ritual when it's open. Great staff, great prices, great environment for kids to come play before the movies. Totally recommend.”

Ozoner 29

Address: 837 NY-29, Broadalbin, NY 12025, USA

Movie theater

“This was a really good drive in. The menu and prices were great! The screens were big enough and everyone who worked there was friendly. The reason I gave 4 and not 5 is I think there should have been someone directing cars and where they should park. Especially on the screen where we were, it's on an incline. A larger SUV and pick-up truck came in last minute and parked in the second row. They should have been in the back.”

Majestic Chandler 9

Address: 4955 S Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85248, USA

Movie theater Restaurant

“This theater used to be Alamo and we loved it before and still love it now. We went in the lobby and greeted with friendly staff that helped us right away. They had a wheel that we can spin with give aways and we won $10 for food and drinks!! The popcorn is delicious and the service was friendly and the food came out quick. The place is very clean. Clean restrooms with cool tile patterns.”

Summer Drive-In

Address: USA Hockey Arena, 14900 Beck Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170, USA

Movie theater

“Very fun drive in! There's a concession stand and restrooms are a bit of a hike but very clean inside the hockey rink. Since all movies start at 9:45 I wish they would plan to put the longest movie at the back of the lot. I saw the longest movie that was showing one night and it was screen #1, which meant that I got blinded by everyone leaving the other 2 movies. Not the end of the world but it would be a pretty easy fix for the schedulers as well!”

NCG Cinema - Gallatin

Address: 1035 Greensboro Dr, Gallatin, TN 37066, USA

Movie theater

“I'm a Senior, lost my husband to Covid-19. I went by myself to see a movie before 4 pm, which used to be a matinee price. NO LONGER. I paid $8.00 for the ticket & got a med. drink & large popcorn. IT COST ME $24 & change! I may go see a movie every now & then, but at those costs, those will be few & far between. That was 2 mos. ago & I have not been back. At 68 living on S.S. Movies USED TO BE AFFORDABLE. Not anymore. I'll wait for movies to eventually come out on Red Box.”
