Angel of Goliad Hike and Bike Trail

Address: Park Rd 6, Goliad, TX 77963, USA

“Very nice hike and bike trail. I noticed one comment concerning unsafe steps. We rode the trail from downtown Goliad out to the mission and state park then back to Goliad. We never encountered any steps. All changes in terrain had wooden ramps with switch backs to climb or descend. Not difficult at all, just be careful to control your speed when going down the ramps. Otherwise it is a very pleasant and relaxing ride from town and throughout the park.”

The shaded, covered RV lots provided a comfortable environment, protecting us from the sun and keeping the RV cool. I felt completely safe here; the well-maintained grounds and friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere that made it a true home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic RV experience!”

Friends of Alum Creek Dog Park

Address: 3993 Hollenback Rd, Lewis Center, OH 43035, USA

Park

“My puppy absolutely loves it. There is a separate dry park (small/large) and then an awesome fenced in beach down on the shore that is also roped off so they cannot swim too far. A hose was added near the bathrooms to wash off after play time. Other owners seem attentive to their dogs and no one seemed to bring aggressive ones in. There are people who bring toys and stuff in - so if your dog doesn’t 100% agree with drop it/leave it, you might irritate a few people. (Whoops - he’s a puppy)”

“It's a nice lake to fish if you have a boat.. there are some places to bank fish but there is a lot of lilly pads around the edge of most of the lake, about 20-30' out till you get open water.. There are paths around part of the lake but they need some attention, jaggers and tree limbs obstruct the way There is a Peninsula type strip but it's over grown as well( wear pants). I tried to go around the lake on the path.. but it dead ended on the east side. There is a nicely mowed section up front and along the Dam. There is a boat launch ramp as well”
