“Great campground! Beautiful common areas and lake; scenic but 5 minutes from town with everything you could need. Sites are roomy with brand new hook-ups and nicely level. Hardly a bad site in the place but for a tiny handful I noticed out of well over 100. Many buddy sites and small clusters well-oriented for group camping. The General Store is fully-stocked and even serves fried snacks and drinks if you're inclined. Live music on the weekends. I usually don't like all-gravel parks, but they've actually done an incentible job with it. Will definitely be back for a longer stay in warm weather.”

“I like to bring my dog here to chase the voles which appears to look like a gopher . This is a really unique park I'm surprised there's no signs and no lights in the park its pitch black. I think its cool that people can drive to the top and just chill there, or do illegal stuff. You're not supposed to but everybody does it i saw a mother have a picnic at the top wwith her two children and it was the sweetest thing i had ever seen it was so cute.. regardless of the bad rep this park gets i still want to see stuff added to this park like a play ground and a path with stuff to read about the park and the history of the neighborhood. Fun fact so I found out that that this place used to be the city landfill lmao 🤣 which would explain the big hills and the neighborhood right next to it has a story too in conjunction with the land fill. I still feel like this park deserves a makeover and I think it gives it extra personality”

“Our family stayed in a cabin at this KOA twice this summer, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owners and staff made us feel so welcome. The cabin and site were clean. The fire pit with grate made campfires and cooking easy and safe. The kids loved all of the animals on-site! We also enjoyed the swimming lake, inflatables, jumping pillow, and playground. In the rain, the game room kept us busy. We can’t wait to come back!”

“The building is falling apart despite conservation. They no longer allow people to get close to take pictures due to possible falling debris and possible collapse around the main building, but you can still go into the summer home, where the exhibit is. The $40 ticket is pricey but part of it goes into the impossible conservation here. Any instagrammable exhibit in NYC would've cost the same or more without the same historical importance and significance. The island is small and the tour only leads you thru a small section of the island that is safe and tended to by the garden club, which is still unnecessarily far away from the main castle. If you want a really close shot and explore all the other buildings lingering around the island, kayak may be a better option, but you might miss out from the detailed historical tour. Not sure if kayaker can get ashore, as they reserve the pier for their tour ferry. Other spots of the island, away from the main popular spots, are not rigorously maintained aside from having an obvious trail to walk on; dont expect pretty garden all over the island. That said, they do diversify to other theatrical activity on the island, such as Dracula show during Halloween season. Definitely a gem on the Hudson, not to be missed. Oh, not wheel chair friendly, and dont eat there. Just eat and go to bathroom before the tour. Have a good time!”

“Outstanding facility. We made the 1+ hour trip from Clearwater Beach twice last month. Open rec play was crowded until around 11am but we planned ahead and reserved a court at 10 for an hour. Stopped by Sage Biscuit Cafe for lunch and headed back over the Skyway Bridge. Sure wish Pinellas County had a facility like this.”

“It is one of the better places in Anza Borrego State Park for wildflower viewing. In south western deserts, some plants bloom when they get a certain amount of rain. The rest bloom based on day length and water received, the super blooms. These pictures are the results of the rain that fell the last 2 months. There should be a super blooms in a few months. Keep an eye on the park website.”

“This little amusement park is the perfect size for toddlers and great age appropriate activities for littles. I would say ages 2-7 is the sweet spot for Pirate’s Cove. They everything from a merry-go-round to paddle boats, trains, bouncy house and more. If you haven’t been, do it! It’s a super fun family activity, and they have a picnic area on the pirate ship. What’s not to love?!”

“Beautiful park smack in middle of a regular Brooklyn block. Tons of space to sit and relax, park is usually empty/very few people at all times of day, park is also open 24/7 (officially its 6am - 1am). Interesting rock with historical references in middle of the park, if your nearby definitely recommend checking out. If you go on a clear night you are able to see a few stars above 🤩 but not too many :/.”

“Beachside glamping at it best! If you want to “camp” on concrete, this isn’t for you, but if sand, surf, flip flops and shorts on a South Louisiana fishing island is your thing, you must stay at Sarah’s. Snowbird? Yes! Families? Yes! Beach/sun lover? Yes! Remote? Oh, yes! Fishing Rodeos? More than you can count! Spring break college kids? Maybe not”

“Tails and Trails is part of Mukilteo’s Japanese Gulch. The main dog park is close to the size of a football field! Fully enclosed with log fences, reinforced with metal mesh. There is a “shy dog” area, and walking trails throughout the gulch. Many water bowls and full refill jugs, benches, as well as agility structures for your dog to play or train. The only downside is this park can get VERY muddy so bring boots and a paw wiping towel… or bring your pup on a dry day.”

“Came here for a disc golf tournament to cater it and i must say this is a very beautiful park to visit. Great location, restrooms, clean grounds and plenty of parking. Glad we get to come out here and enjoy it. Shout out to Poesta Creek and One Star for the love they show to not only us and the city but the disc golf community.”

“Goods- Good staff up front, young adults working hard is always good. From last reviews I read they have now brand new loaner bats, not even a hit on them. Plus they’re the only batting cages around. Cons- Looks like they’re doing some much needed updating on the machines and coin operations that are faulty, I’ll update this to 5 *’s once they do. The pricing seems high but with inflation and the nature of cages I don’t think they could charge $1.50 and $1 is too low in todays standards so it makes sense that it’s $2.00 per coin with discounts at higher price.”

“Nice neighborhood park with a walking trail, basketball hoop, children's play area, and woods which will beckon the more adventurous children and remind me fondly of the childhood hours that I spent playing in the woods. It's peaceful and delightful; a wonderful glimpse into nature”

“Went here a decade ago on a field trip with my whole grade level in elementary it was amazing. I still miss the Termite Cabin Crew ,Paul was awesome even when I had nosebleeds all the time he was chill about it, along with Quinn our nature explorer teacher. His sign to tell him we’re bored in his lessons actually helped me through stressful times in Highschool. The one thing I don’t miss is knowing the Cobra cabin still has showers they used up all the hot water. Wish I knew if both of them still work there and if anything changed.”

“We came for a quick play session and the equipment didn't disappoint. Our family of five spun around on the in-ground merry go round feeling the angular momentum. (Science!😉) The tube slides, climbing ropes, loops, rocks and bars, musical instruments and even the silly giggle box. 😂 We had a great time! Definitely recommend. Also, shout out to whoever did the awesome chalk art. (See pics)”

“I had an absolute blast doing a morning pheasant and chukar hunt. I arrived early and Ted gave me a tour of his whole operation. From the beautiful hunting grounds, fast flying birds, friendly people and some of the finest hunting dogs I’ve ever seen. I will absolutely be back to experience his hunts again. I highly recommend!”

“This is an excellent place for riding off-road dirt bikes and atvs only. It's 2600 acres of fun filled trails, with lots of sand and some old mine pits that have some technical hills. This is one of my favorite places to ride, and i have been riding in 14 states. There are a couple of beginner areas for kids. The campground has water with 30/50 amp. Also, bath house and a dump station. Dogs are Not Allowed. It's well managed with friendly rangers that have responded quickly to any issues. I have been coming to this place for over 50 years, and I always have a great time.”

“Very nice hidden nugget. Stumbled across this gem during a road trip. Very nice nature walk. Benches along the way. Large areas without shade so consider this if going on a hot, sunny day. The boards could use some attention, but we felt safe. It's not very high off the ground.”

“Carmichael Park is a magnificent park with many athletic facilities. Is located at the foothills of the Cascades and consists a beautiful view of the Cascades. It is a very large park and has a baseball field, a basketball court and a tennis court. Cricket can also be played on the soccer field if there is no one there. Very peaceful and quiet park overall.”
