“Always an amazing atmosphere, run by loving passionate people. Great tinctures and a home brew tea that’s amazing as well. A beautiful space to stop into with kids on the weekend whether the space is active or mellow.”

“Had a lot of fun with my group of friends here. The road to get here is a bit rough though. About a mile or two of dirt road to get to the campsite with lots of rocks. A FWD can make it up, just have to drive really carefully! Definitely would bring an SUV or Truck if you can though. Once you get to the campground though, you and your group will be far enough from other campers not to really be bothered by anyone. There are lots of trails you can explore yourself just by walking around the campsite with lots of shade. *Be warned though, we did see a bear both mornings we were here. Make sure to take advantage of the bear boxes provided.*”

“The bathrooms might be bad and we're destroyed and replaced with portable bathrooms. They are replacing them and building new and better bathrooms. A nice playground for kids to have fun and a lot of benches for parents to sit and watch. The baseball is so good. I love watching and snack shack to eat during games, GO ATWATER LITTLE LEAGE! They have a BBQ pit. They have a huge area of seating to eat and fave a party.”

“I have live in St.Catharines my whole life and have never been here. What a cute trail and hiking area. It has a big pond that you can fish in, with benches around it and a floating dock. Its nicely tucked in and quiet. I found alot of mushrooms which is always fun to look at.”

“I’ve been dealing with this place since my Grandmother’s death in 1989. I’ve watched it change hands and go downhill - so much that I’ve spent years trying to find a way to move my family out of there. Last week I got a call from Jessica, who told me that the cemetery was bought by a company called Ever Story. Well if she is any indication of what this new company is like, it’s a pretty great company! Not only did she call to ask what they could do for me, but she had the grounds people give my family grave markers a lift and repaired my parents grave stone - something I’d been trying to have done for years. I’m so impressed! Maybe we’ll just stay around!”

“Great neighborhood park in Highland Village. Features: Shaded playground, picnic tables, soccer field, basketball court, small forested area, walking trail around a stocked pond. No parking around it though, so it seems intended for neighborhood residents”

“Great park if you like to hike amongst lush vegetation. The Siena trail is a loop below the Miraleste Plaza. It’s possible to extend the hike either via Frascati, Lorraine and Canada or even Cotilinita trails. The Siena loop takes about 10 minutes. Nice ocean views included. Update in february 2019 Lush vegetation composed of plants that are NATIVE to southern CA. Big thank you to the conservatory employees and volunteers! Ping me for any questions. Feel free to hit the Like button if my review has been useful for you. Thank you!”

“A perfect place for our stay! Ernie’s Acres was quiet with a beautiful view. Sites were easy to back into and plenty of room around for kids to play. Our kids loved the swingset. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. Owners were very flexible, accommodating and fantastic to work with. If we need a place to stay again in this area we will definitely be back!!”

“It has been a just over a year since I brought my Paco home from Island Dog International Dog Rescue. I can't put into words the joy this little rescue dog has brought our family. I commend Jen for doing a great job screening for the right home. Paco had/has some "quirks" that made him a bad choice for some families. But the pros at this rescue did their due diligence and made sure Paco went where he would thrive. Rescue work can be difficult, but this knowledgeable, compassionate group is highly recommended.”

“Parking lot easily found by the old silo nearby. Both when parking and upon returning. The beginning is an ant utopia, I've never seen so many thriving anthills before. Once you veer off path at the larger lake and go downhill to find the rock outcroppings and tiny water fall / streams , it's so worth the trip. Absolutely beautiful. Expectat at least an hour or better 2-3 here.”

“The park was calm and quiet. Some guys were playing an intense game of basketball and a little kid ran into their court and the stopped the game for him. Showed such great character. Park was clean. The playground was really HOT I wish there was some shade or atleast not a black ground. They had a little water spout for the kids. I wish this was slightly bigger or had more features. Great park!!”

“We were just out today looking for a park in Northwest Columbus and we stumbled upon this little gem stone. From the looks of this this park is circled by about five baseball fields. With that being said this little oasis is small and it is for kids age 12 and younger nothing super special but yet very nice and welcoming. If you’ve got some young kids and you want a nice quiet park for the kids to just blow off some steam you should check this little gem out”

“The start of the trail is well marked. The route does not match what is shown on Google Maps. See the photo of the map. The trail begins in a woodland area along a marsh where we see a variety of birds. We saw a shrew once. The entire trail except for the farm roads is mulched. The trail reaches a gravel farm road. There is a sign directing to the right on the road. The road to the left is posted closed to the public. The next sign indicates straight or to the right for Dabblers Marsh Loop Trail. If you go straight it is the last sign for a while. Following the farm road there is hedgerow on the left and farm fields on the right, so no shade for a while. If you continue on the farm road it eventually ends in a field, so you need to look for an unmarked side road on the right. There is now a map posted where you turn on the Loop Trail. No directional signs for people who are map challenged. If you are taking the loop clockwise, turn right at the map. If counterclockwise, turn left at the map. If you are going clockwise and get to the RV storage lot with cyclone fencing on the left you just passed it. There are bird nesting boxes on posts along this road. It will take you to a mulched trail on the right. Once you go back into the woodland signs are posted again. The mulched trails will get you back to the intersection with the farm road. This section has song birds, rabbits and garter snakes.”

“Nice small dog park. Great for when you don't have a backyard or don't have a fenced area for your dog. Loved that they had 2 benches for "owners" to sit. Has a couple of trees and fire hydrants for dogs to sniff around. water bowl in corner and 3 different entrances for ease of access. Lots of activity while we were there and everyone was super nice, making sure that no dogs got out and that "play times" were ok and friendly. Lots of people walking in the park this is attached to. We parked in the rear of the animal shelter parking lot, as the dog park in located right behind their facility in the public park.”

“Part of the Port A Nature Preserve. We found this to be the best area to see a lot of water birds at a fairly close distance. Right next to the water treatment plant so didn’t like the smell but tolerable. Good signage to ID birds and nice walkways built over the water leading to covered observation towers. The trail continues several miles on if you want to go further to the South area. Every Wed, several local folks provide an interpretive bird walk…Ray was great pointing out birds and answering questions. Bring binoculars and a hat. Definitely go several times as you might see something different every time. We went in the fall when birds migrate, not sure how it is in summer.”

“A beautiful lake side park right off of the highway! Paid parking, swimming beaches, bathrooms & outdoor shower available. Plenty of tree coverage & a few different playgrounds. Great place for a dog walk, picnic, outdoor event or some water vehicle fun! I didn't see anyone fishing, probably because the lake was so busy with jet skis & speed boats.”

“Very hilly terrain and well manicured main trails. The river trail is quite slippery at this time of year. About a 220’ chain in elevation to get down to the bottom so be prepared for a workout getting back up.”
