“It's the gem of Gilroy parks and soon to include a SJ Sharks practice arena that will be open to the public I believe. That will be built in the field on the right hand side of the entrance driveway. My only issue is why a "sports park" doesn't include tennis, volleyball, pickle ball and/or handball courts??? It's literally just grass where 3 of the 4 corners are for baseball and then they paint in soccer fields in the middle. Nothing fancy but Gilroy makes sure not to waste a penny to keep the grass greener then green.”

“This is a nice area of Fort Gibson Lake and a beautiful place to camp. There's an attendant at the entance. Lots of places to hook up if you have a camper, or you can use a tent. Dogs must be on a leash. The restrooms were close by, but I didn't go there because we used the camper one. I have used them in the past, and they were fine, with showers, if I remember correctly. Good swimming and fishing off the banks. Our friends were camping, so we came down to visit them for the evening. They do jug fishing, so we went with them on their boat to check the lines for caught fish, which were added to the others that they had already caught, and we had a delicious fish fry! The sunrises/sunsets are magnificent! Except for the children across the Bay playing in the water, it was completely silent! Of course, during the daytime, it can be loud with boats and is crowded during holidays and weekends! We had a great time! Fort Gibson is a large gorgeous lake with many areas like this one. It's popular, so it's best to reserve a site to make sure that you will have one when you come here.”

“Nice park. Sturdy equipment, fun jungle gym with good slides, swings, picnic tables and benches in the shade. No shade for the kiddos though, was a little warm. Beautiful property though. Has fields to use also for light at night. Open till 11pm. Water close by so there was a nice breeze too. Would recommend if you are in the area.”

“We loved our dolphin tour! Went in the afternoon and it was only slightly more money then the other massive boats and it was so nice to just be on a small personal tour. We found a spotted dolphin pod and got to put on snorkel gear to hop in with the dolphins for a couple minutes and it was magical. We also went to a turtle cleaning spot and it was so fun to snorkel with the turtles! The lunch was delicious and healthy and the crew was really knowledgeable and took fun photos of us! Overall an amazing experience and I with I had taken more photos!”

The new owners have kept the basics for gardening and landscaping and are continually updating and growing new native plant collection. They live the mission on their land by test new sustainable fertilizers like “compost tea” and other field planting strategies the improve the health of the soil and air quality while producing hay with more diverse nutrients for animals. “Fun park for the kids! Zip lines, merry-go-round that's wheelchair accessible, climbing nets/structures, lots of spinning things, multiple slides, and more. There is also a bunch of outdoor workout equipment for adults, including a stair stepper, elliptical, weights and more. There was an accessible minibiff when we were there, which is nice to have with small kids in tow. They were also in the process of installing another new piece of equipment while we were there. Great park to go to!”
