“We enjoyed our stay at John Bryan State Park Campground. The campground is relatively open however the perimeter sites offer some privacy. The grounds were well maintained and offer a newer restroom and shower facility, Pump station, picnic shelter and some additional vault restrooms throughout. The staff at the camp office / store was very friendly and helpfull. Their are several trailheads that are accessible from the campgrounds as well. Our site was level, paved and included a fire ring picnic table and electric hook up.”

“Calling all bonsai enthusiasts — this is THE PLACE! Most amazing selection of bonsai I’ve ever seen. John was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when deciding which species to purchase. Just walking around checking out the amazing array of trees made for a great trip to the Bonsai Shack. Best place to purchase bonsai in the area! They also do bonsai classes and shows!! They have a gorgeous Koi pond too. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Part of Pleasure Point and Opal Cliffs area. Has stairways for beach and water access. Small parking lot and bathroom near cliff top path. Great views and surfing when swell is right. Can get quite cold and windy. Make sure you have warm clothes available. It can be warm inland and cold here.”

“People have fallen and died on this hike. It is challenging and very dangerous therefore only experienced hikers should attempt. The trail starts at the same spot as the crouching lion hike but instead of heading towards the crouching lion, continue heading up. Going up is very steep. The path along the ridge drops off to either side and is not for the faint of heart. At the top of the ridge the path becomes very muddy and remains so as you begin your decent. The trail eventually takes you into an old Mormon cemetery and out on to Trout Farm Road.”

“Usually in parks the entry tickets are per car however here it’s per person. $5 ticket per adult but totally worth it for the blue bonnet blooms. Water body near by makes it even more spectacular. Apart from blue bonnets there are some white and yellow wildflowers as well. Nice place to chill out. There are some camping place as well. People bring their camp gears or just folding chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy nice view with blue bonnets fragrance in the air. Some hike trails. Quite a large area. You can drive car around and check it out. However the road are not concrete roads but just gravel and some rocks. So if you’ve car with low clearance- be careful going to steep roads. Restrooms available by the entrance. If you want to go there during blooming season - March last week and April first week are appropriate time for that.”

“Trail is smooth and well traveled for the most part. Beware of exposed roots and rocky areas that may be moss covered and slippery with numerous crevices and cracks that can be ankle busters. It was a short, beautiful walk to Lloyd Oliver falls. Lots of wineries nearby to enjoy a glass before or after your hike.”

“Would give this campground a 4.5 if I could. Great amenities including restrooms with flush toilets, soap to wash hands, and air dryers. They also have laundry, a playground, and a swimming beach on Eerie. The only addition I would like to see is a walking/biking path from the campsites to the restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, and to the the park office. Showers bathrooms are very clean.”

“A very nice baseball facility with good amenities. The high school level field is good, with a grass infield. Outfield depth is challenging for youth. Base paths are soft and forgiving.”

“Absolutely serene. There's something there for all walks. The building and architecture work inside is absolutely stunning. The grounds are as well. It's totally worth letting go of a few bucks to just walk on the mossy trail barefoot. The staff are amazing, happy, friendly people. There are restroom facilities there next to the gabizo. See photos.”

“Nice lake to fish, some camping sites are NOT for RVers, there are some on the back site, I wouldn't stay in a tent for, I think you need to be brave or stupid. I'm sure the view is spectacular, not worth it to me. I think it's a non-motorized lake, canoes, paddle boards, etc.”

“If you want a view. Yup. Here is the place. Architecture is pretty incredible. Bathrooms are done in marble. Gift shop, coffee shop. Somewhat crowded along the inside of this place. But overall, it's really nice to see. Check out the glass as you enter.”

“Fields of all sorts were there the grass was well maintained. The fields even had watering systems. That is kind of negative as well, because a wet soccer ball can mess up your kicks a bit. I could also see how people might trip over them, but I liked the idea. When I was leaving the place even had a grounds keeper picking up trash at the playground area. There us a sign stating that the playing is only for children. I saw a nice porter potty, but I thought I also saw a building for /etc. I plan on going back sometime to play some more soccer if it is not crowded. I was there pretty early in the morning.”

“Just left the Livery after doing their 6 mile run in our personal kayaks... FABULOUS CREW took such great care of us and our kayaks! Most places transport with zero care of personal kayaks, I've never not been worried something would happen during transport, until today. We are forever fans and customers, no point in going anywhere else, Thank Yall !! ❤️”
