“Gordon and everyone down at Al’s hideaway is awesome. We love traveling on 2 wheels and this is a perfect place to stay for riding all over the hill country! Scenic rides and great places to eat in all directions and then you get to cook and hang out with like minded people in their great outdoor kitchen or head back to cabin for a little more privacy and hang out on your own front porch. “Spring Valley has the best shooting range I have ever visited. The archery range is second to none. They have a traditional archery range and a range course you can enjoy. They also have a gun range for any firearm situation you need to practice for. Spring Valley also has an awesome wildlife area that has some nice trails and a marsh to enjoy some fall and winter hunting.”

“It's a decent dog park. There isn't much there for the dogs to do other than run around. Other parks have hills, hoops, and platforms for the dogs to play with. Its nice that they have a Porta potty next to the park if you need to go. They also have water for the dogs. I'll come back if I'm in the area.”

“I like Centennial Trail over Burke Gilman and Sammamish River trail because of less traffic and quiet in woods. This spot, Machias Trailhead, is located between Snohomish and Arlington Trailhead. I usually stop here for using a restroom and refilling water. We bike there on 6/3, 2023. The water fountain was not working. I hope it will be fixed soon.”

Nothing like spending the day near the river, watching the longhorns, exploring, and ending the day with stunning sunsets.
