“Came here for lunch at around 1pm and there was no wait for a seat so that was great. We ordered the House Special Fried Noodle w/ Fried Boiled Pork Knife Cut Style (15.50), Wife Special Noodle (15.50), Special Beef Noodle Soup spicy (16.99), and Green Onion Pancake (7.99). As our first time here, we ordered quite a lot for only 3 people after seeing how delicious they looked in the menu. The food was served one after another in about 20 minutes. The beef noodles was served last. All the dishes were good but my favorite was the knife cut noodles and the wife noodles. The knife cut noodles had a unique flavor but did get a bit greasy as it sat there longer while we ate the other dishes. The wife noodles tasted more like tomatoes but it was pretty good. All the noodles had good texture and were flavorful but not salty. The beef noodles tasted just average for being the most expensive dish. Note that it said it is spicy but it wasn't spicy at all. As for the green onion pancake, it was crispy and authentic tasting. The portions for all of them were all reasonable for the price. They were quite generous with the amount of meat for the dishes. I did not really like the texture of the beef in the noodle soup though. Also lots of noodles! We had leftovers to take home at the end even though we tried to eat as much as we could. This noodle place overall feels authentic and homey. The service is great and I believe it is family run. I can see how they have been opened for so long. I would definitely come back again for lunch or takeout! Support small businesses!”

“This is a great little coffee house that makes incredible coffee and muffins. I deduct a star because Unfortunately they dont take card, so you have to have cash or use their atm and pay a $3 fee. In mid-2023, there are many affordable POS system options for small business and many of us don’t carry cash in a post COVID world. “First time guest. Impressed! Pictured here: meat lovers pizza, renfro street queso, and pot roast. The pizza was flavorful. Pot roast was good but could’ve had more flavor. Carrots tender and sweet, green beans were soft and flavorful, mashed potatoes could’ve been more moist but good flavor. The winner was definitely the homemade chips and queso with street corn. My boyfriend and I tried the pizza(wasn't on the menu yet so I'm not sure what it was called I just know it was super cheesy had pepperoni and jalapeños which complimented the flavor soo nicely and we aren't even pizza fans like that especially not with jalapeños but I would definitely get it again), the all American deluxe burger and waffle fries(I loved how it wasn't a dry burger like it was real juicy and the fries were A1), and the Gordita crunch tacos(tasted like I got them from an authentic Mexican food truck like F**k a Taco Bell fr). With the five star service they give I don't even mind the prices at all, like I would tip that much anyways because they deserve every penny they receive fr! And still tipped lmao. We pulled up to order but you have to pay online for card and they weren't accepting cash so we just ordered from the car with our phones from their website which was cool because it was cold outside lol. “We came in late, but the owner's daughter was very friendly and showed us to our booth. We were given our menus, and our drinks came out quickly. I'm an egg roll guy, a major fan. My heart did a little jump when I read the description in their menu. They make their own dough. I had to order one. My husband ordered kung po beef. I ordered empress chicken. We got into a conversation with a *very* nice couple two tables over as our food arrived. Unfortunately, it lasted halfway through my chicken, but no biggie. I love good conversation as much as I love good food. We were blessed with both! Again, I'm an egg roll guy. This one was very good. That dough they make? It's astonishingly crispy. The filling was *full* of well-seasoned pork. I really enjoyed it, even if it was a bit greasy. The empress chicken was full of veggies and peanuts. I ordered it medium spicy. It had a nice amount of heat, not painful. Warm. The chicken was tender, not rubbery. The brown sauce was a bit too sweet, but it did well marrying the dish to the white rice. My husband's kung po was similarly a bit sweet, but there was a nice hint of Hoisin sauce to it. Even though we showed up a half hour before closing time, we didn't feel rushed. Now to the interior. It is dated, and a bit dingy. I noticed some dust and cobwebs around some of the fixtures. It needs a deep cleaning. If you want to eat in a sterile environment, this is not the place for you. On the other hand, for us this was more like visiting a family table, in their home. Trust me when I tell you if you invite me over to share a meal, I won't be noticing whether or not your ceilings are free of some dust. For us, this *is* a place we'll visit again, especially because the first page of their menu is Vietnamese food. Phó and spring rolls? Yes please. 🙂”
