They have a bunch of high school kids working, and they are well mannered, hard working, and very friendly. You don’t find kids this young like this in most places. For appetizers we had calamari in spicy sauce and a Canterbury sampler, both were excellent. As entrées we had sauerbraten, veal langoustine and salmon over lentils all of which were very good Our one and only complaint is that the hostess, a heavier set blond in a red sweater was just totally miserable and has no business working in the hospitality industry. She made a snide comment to my mother when we requested to not sit near the restroom. Myself and the rest of my party observed her the entire length of the meal being rude to patrons with her nasty expressions and trash talking of patrons to the wait staff. Very rude and unprofessional.”

“This morning I met some friends for a quick bite before heading back to Reno to work. The server was quick to get me a menu and promptly took my order. Because I was in somewhat of a rush, I ordered a 1/2 order of Biscuits and Gravy. It was the perfect size and amount and not too much like biscuits and gravy can tend to be. Even though it was smothered in gravy, the biscuit was really good and had that homemade taste. The gravy was good and that of the usual gravy taste, but nothing to super rave about. It was nice to sit at the bar in the sun room and be able to watch cars pass by and people walking. As I left, I saw what looked to be a patio area with tables and a makeshift stage. I'm interested if they have live music and plan to call and find out.”

“We had our work Christmas party here last year but it was only about 15 people. This year we've grown tremendously to about 45 attending. Which left a bit of a daunting task to find a place not already booked or that was willing to take on that large of a reservation Decided to check with Sumo after being turned down by several other establishments. Although they seemed a little scared of that big of a group, they happily took the reservation. I too was a little nervous about how things would go but they surpassed my expectations. The staff exhibited exceptional efficiency, amiability, and a flair for entertaining, leaving us thoroughly impressed. Four tables and four cooks orchestrated the evening seamlessly, supported by very attentive staff members attending to our needs throughout the event. Of course the food was absolutely amazing. It wasn't particularly crowded so I'm not sure why it took so long for our orders. We ordered the eggrolls as an appetizer and they were fantastic. We finished our appetizer and it took at least thirty minutes before our entree was brought out. To add disappointment, my entree was incorrect. I didn't complain because I didn't want to wait another thirty minutes before receiving the proper order. The cost of the two entrees was the same so I just ate what was brought. The food was good as usual. We will return because everyone can have a bad night. Hopefully things will be back to normal.”

He spent an hour with me at his gym just to help me learn which exercises I should be doing. He did not charge for his time & there was zero pressure to join the gym. I wish I could give 10 stars! I ordered the chicken taquitos for my entree. They were good but I found the chicken inside was a bit overcooked. The service was great. Kind, unassuming servers. When we got there, there was no music on which I was happy with. But about halfway through our meal they turned it on. It was great music it was just a tad too loud. Looking forward to going back.”
